We love this cottage and property! Wonderful to sit on the back deck under a canopy of trees, looking out on the gardens and the mountains in the distance. So peaceful! A great place to visit with family and so close to the Kokanee Creek campground and beaches. Thank you, Roshael!

Older home with lots of upgrades. Very clean. Was perfect for our needs - two adults and two grandchildren. Quiet area. Very comfortable deck. Host was very good and quick to respond if needed which was not much. We would definitely come back for more!

Great location close to Nelson and attractions up the lake, like Ainsworth hot springs and beyond. Our family had a lovely stay at this cozy cottage. The yard was amazing and the badminton was so enjoyed for some fun friendly competition! Would stay here again! Hosts were very communicative and helpful.

A beautiful property on a quiet side road with a big back yard creating privacy and sound barrier from the highway. A serene place for an afternoon nap or get-together on the patio. This was among the best vacation rentals we've stayed in, and we hope to come again! We noted that it is particularly well equipped for small children. The Mexican food truck nearby is good.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood for the friendly people who also live/viait there to enjoy the slower pace and the beauty of every view and moment.
You can see parents, dog and nature lovers walking/jogging by in this diverse neighborhood. A bus stop is within walking distance from the property, if you want to pass on the driving.
If you start to run out of provisions, there are grocery stores and bakeries 5 and 10 minutes away (without having to go into Nelson).

What makes this property unique

Unique for its privacy and fully-fenced garden and park-like setting among the stunning backdrop of the mountains. Rural paved road provides great opportunity to take yourself/and your dog for a daily walk/jog, whatever your pace!
Kick back to take in the views and re-set, re-create yourself by the outdoor fire pit or by the fireplace inside. So compact and so well thought out the cottage provides every convenience you could need.
When adventure calls, there’s lots to immerse yourself in or take a soak in the hot springs. Day trips to the ferry close by and beyond provide options for local wine tasting, sound bathing and shopping for the most unique crafts and art of the area.
