We enjoyed our stay at the condo that is steps from Rogers Stadium. Great amenenties in the building and easy access to public transit. Condo suited our family of 4 perfectly. Great communication with host!
The unit was nice, spacious and good building amenities. However the roof top patio was not as pictured. The cushions and chairs were filthy and wet (even those kept in a storage bin) . Other examples include, the bbq didn't work and the grill was gross. A lot of the hardware is broken or falling off. For example the kitchen faucet handle came off with almost every use. No extra garbage bags. Those may seem like small things but the accumulation of them was a nuisance and reduced the value for cost.
This was a nice location, and the bedrooms and bathrooms and living area were clean. We loved the entry courtyard and the parking was free. Location was convenient for walking to some places. We had asked the host if they had spices and a cast iron pan, and there was a new pan and spices by the door when we checked in! There were other thoughtful touches. The main complaint was with the outdoor area. It was really something we had decided to pay a lot extra for--it seemed worth it, but instead it was almost like the photos were taken the day they set it up five years ago. There was no cover(bare frame w lights) and no extra chairs, the couch was missing cushions and everything looked so weathered and sad. Tipped over plants, bird droppings and loose gravel. None of the charm of the photos. At night it was still a nice place to sit for a bit, but two people had to sit at the dining chairs. The kitchen sink faucet was coming off and water pooling underneath in the cabinet. This is probably why the kitchen flooring is warped, so seems like an ongoing issue. Only the K cup coffee maker and there were not enough pods for our 4 people for 2 mornings. We had brought our own coffee, but not even a basic drip coffee machine. One piece of art in the living room was missing the art, and was just cardboard...We would stay here again if it was less expensive. It needs upgrades ASAP! Host was responsive to messages about wifi and entry procedures.
