About this property
Beautiful Maine Lakefront Apartment on Sebasticook Lake
Enjoy some time away on the shores of beautiful Sebasticook lake, right in the heart of Maine. With it's own entrance, this second-floor garage apartment has one private bedroom, and a large common area with a fully stocked kitchenette. The bedroom has a full-size bed. The common area contains a full-size futon. There are also 2 cots, and a full air mattress. The space is ideal for 2-4 adults, or 2 adults with children. There is also a tent area included outside with it's own fire pit if you'd like to enjoy camping out for part of your stay. (tent available for guest use) The common area includes a table with seating for 4, and a bar counter with 2 additional stools. There is a 50-inch smart tv, free wifi, electronic dartboard, and many games, puzzles and books for fun nights or rainy days inside. Wifi is sufficient for streaming and for working remotely.
The kitchenette has a mini fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, blender, griddle, large toaster oven, toaster, and a 2-burner portable electric cook top. Kitchen is stocked with all basic dishes, utensils, cookware, and paper products.
Included are linens, towels, beach towels, life jackets, and basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, sunscreen and bug-spray.)
The outdoor grounds offer endless possibilities for making memories: Chat with friends from the bar under the pergola, enjoy a glass of wine by the water, or listen to the loons at sunset from the deck. There is a propane grill for guest use, as well as several eating areas. The deck offers a table and seating for 6, as well as a lounging area. The pergola has a bar with seating for 4. Closer to the dock is a picnic table, and 2 Adirondack chairs for enjoying the water. There is a centrally located fire-pit with camp chairs, and firewood for your use.
Included for guest use are 3 kayaks (2 single, 1 double), a 4–5-person paddle boat, a 2-person rowboat, several inflatable tubes and floaties, as well as basic fishing gear, and life vests. Fishing licenses are required for anyone over 16 and can be purchased online or locally.
Also, outside is a volleyball net, badminton, basketball hoop, Corn Hole, and other outdoor yard games.
The apartment is private and separate from the rest of the house, with its own entrance through the garage. The rest of the house is owner-occupied by your hosts, Rachael and Darcy; however, we prioritize our guest's privacy at all times. The outdoor area may be shared by a friendly Springer Spaniel, and a couple of cats. When we are not there, we are only a phone call away for any need that may arise.
