This was a deeply unpleasant experience. I've stayed at a number of different VRBO properties and this was the first time I ever felt the need to leave a location before my scheduled check out. This unit has some sort of mold or mildew issue which seems to be connected to the AC system, as running it quickly filled the apartment with an unpleasant mold/mildew smell and after spending the night there I started to experience a burning sensation in my eyes and throat as well as some trouble breathing.Additionally, while less critical, I also felt that the apartment was not particularly clean. The carpet was stained, had a fair amount of dust and dirt built up in the corners, and overall just felt grimy to the touch. The shower floor also turned out to be slimy the one time I tried to shower while I was there.When I contacted MadeComfy about these concerns I didn't feel I was taken particularly seriously and by the time they sent someone out to check I had already relocated. When I requested a refund for the time I hadn't spent there I was told it was under discussion and I would hear back within 24 hours. A month and a few additional calls and it's apparently still being discussed, so it doesn't seem like they're particularly interested in any sort of compensation.Overall a miserable, exhausting experience which could have presented a threat to my health. I recommend staying just about anywhere else.
