If you are planning a family trip to Nova Scotia, this is your house. The spacious rooms and layout were excellent for a large group. We had 5 staying and then hosted our nearby family for dinners and drinks both indoors and out. The location is very convenient to the sites of Halifax and other south shore places like Lunenburg. Its access to the highways made trips to the airport and up to wine country a breeze. The kitchen is good for making big meals. The property is large and has a great deck, 2 fire pits, sauna and hot tub. If the weather is in your favor, then you will be outside. The AC/heatpump system worked well to keep us comfortable in rather shifting weather. The pictures don't really show the size and layout, but it was a great value for our family.

Richard and his family were truly wonderful guests. They were respectful, thoughtful, and excellent communicators from beginning to end. We felt completely comfortable having them in our home, and we were so happy to know they were able to really enjoy the property during their stay. They treated the home with exceptional care and left everything in perfect, pristine condition. We also really appreciated the thoughtful observations Richard shared with us about the property throughout their stay. It was incredibly helpful to have a guest take the time to let us know what he noticed, and the way he communicated everything was constructive, considerate, and genuinely appreciated. They were the kind of guests every host hopes for, easy to communicate with, respectful of the home, attentive, and an absolute pleasure to host. We would welcome Richard and his family back anytime and sincerely hope they return in the future. We could not recommend them more highly to other hosts.
