We traveled to this location for upcoming maternity pictures I had at Hammonasset. It was less than 5 minutes away which was wonderful with a 18 month old. The listing is advertised as “baby friendly”, but I fear that is misleading. Between the stairs with no gate, the location of things like knives to toddler level, and an open electrical box near the bed, it just was a lot to keep a baby safe. We communicated a lot with the owner to voice concerns upon arrival. The owner was great communicating, up until us advising we were leaving early due to our concerns. Overall, the property was clean and well located. If this rental was just for my husband and I, it would’ve been perfect. But with a baby, this wouldn’t work for us again.
