Set in a 1.5-hectare park, 10 minutes from UzĂšs, accessible via a small country lane, this magnificent property sleeps 10. Surrounded by an olive grove, this property offers peace, quiet, and tranquility. An exceptional location in UzĂšs.
The property consists of a main house with 5 bedrooms and a small stone cottage for 2 people. The cottage can be rented alongside the main house or separately. Tenants of the mazet (if it is not rented with the house) have access to the swimming pool, but it is possible to privatize the property for a small additional fee (the mazet will then be included in the rental).
The main house, measuring 220 mÂČ, is pleasantly furnished and features a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a dining room. There is also a separate TV lounge. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom and bathroom. The other four bedrooms are located upstairs.
The outdoor terrace is sunny from morning to night, overlooking the small valley and the meadows with horses.
You will be charmed by the serenity of the setting, while being just minutes from UzĂšs.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful property. Breakfasts on the terrace under vines and surrounded by olive trees; swimming in the pool every day; days out to the nearby Haribo museum and the roman Pont du Gard; and dinners at a number of very pleasant restaurants in the historic town of Uzùs. The property was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. It was the perfect family holiday for us - I can’t recommend it enough.

Ouders, kinderen en kleinkinderen samen op vakantie

Vreemd dat de informatie op de Franstalige en de Nederlandstalige versie vd website van HomeAway verschillend is wat voor verwarring zorgt ( beddengoed .... wel en niet inbegrepen in de prijs), toeristentax en taxe de séjour dreigen dubbel betaald te worden, wat enig mailverkeer tot gevolg had maar toch vermeden kon worden. Verder alleen maar positieve gevoelens na deze zomerse week vakantie in gezelschap van kinderen en kleinkinderen. Heel veel ruimte zowel in de woning als buiten, wat een gezelschap van 10 personen wel kan gebruiken. Zeer ruim geëquipeerde woning, de vele olijfbomen in de tuin ts het huis en het zwembad die zorgen voor de nodige schaduw, een bakker op wandelafstand... De eigenaars wonen vlakbij en zijn bereikbaar maar niet opdringerig. Wat wel ontbreekt in de woning en toch wel handig kan zijn is info ivm dokter, apotheek in de buurt. Ons hele gezelschap heeft intens genoten van het samenzijn!

A beautiful house in a beautiful setting.

We stayed 5 nights with our 3 grown sons + partners. The house is very nicely decorated, well equipped, spacious and quiet. Chantal is a charming hostess. We typically spent mornings by the pool, had an afternoon adventure (Arles, Avignon, ChĂąteauneuf-du-Pape, Pont du Gard) then returned for a swim before dining out or cooking at home. Nice grocery shopping nearby and several excellent restaurants in UzĂšs. It is a charming town with a great Wednesday morning market. We were all sad to leave and hope to return someday.

Wunderschönes Haus in "walking distance" zu Uzes.

Wir haben in les Olivettes wunderbare Urlaubstage verbracht. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet mit allem was es braucht, der Pool (trotz unserer Nutzung vor den Osterferien ) gefĂŒllt und beheizt, das angrenzende Poolhaus ist ein Bijoux und luxuriös ausgestattet und der Olivengarten vor dem Haus gepflegt und einladend zum entspannen und lesen. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und wir haben den Blick in die Landschaft genossen. Trotzdem ist das StĂ€dtchen gut und ĂŒber einen netten Weg (nicht entlang grosser Strassen ) zu Fuss erreichbar (wir haben 20-25 Minuten gebraucht....gemĂŒtliches spazieren). Chantal ist eine unglaublich hilfsbereite Vermieterin und immer erreichbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten.

An Ideal Guesthouse & Wonderful Host in Provence

I stayed at the wonderful guesthouse, Les Olivettes, with a group of students who were taking a week of classes at the culinary school, Cook'n With Class (which I can also highly recommend) in nearby Arpaillargues. The property encompasses a very spacious guesthouse, and also a stone guest cottage, both furnished in the charming Provencal style, and nestled in an olive grove within easy walking distance of Uzes. The bedrooms were very comfortable with beautiful views, and the living and dining areas were inviting places to share quiet evenings in front of the fireplace, or to have guests for festive celebrations. The lovely, and very friendly proprietor, Chantal Eykens, and her son, Arthur, greeted us with such a genuinely warm welcome. Chantal provided us with an excellent breakfast each morning and was exceptionally attentive to our needs. Arthur, not only a wonderful young man, but also a very gifted musician, gave a stellar performance of classical piano music for our first evening. Les Olivettes provided the incomparable pleasure of feeling that, even for a brief time, we were actually living in a very gracious home in Provence. It was a marvelous experience and one that I can highly recommend to anyone visiting this very special part of France.

Die Seele baumeln lassen

Wir haben bereits zum zweiten Mal eine wundervolle Herbstwoche im "Olivettes" verbracht und der Abschied fiel uns wiederum schwer. Wir können uns den vorgĂ€ngigen Bewertungen nur anschliessen. Das grosse Haus in dem schön gelegenen und sehr gepflegten Garten mit Pool lĂ€dt zum Verweilen ein. Das sehr charmente StĂ€dchen UzĂšs ist ideal gelegen, um TagesausflĂŒge nach Avignon, NĂźmes, Arles etc. oder in die Camargue zu unternehmen. Und es gibt immer wieder viel Neues zu entdecken. Chantal und ihre Familie sind sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Vermieter und es fehlte uns an nichts. Merci Ă  vous tous pour votre grande hospitalitĂ©. Bonne chance et Ă  la prochaine!! Au calme, au cƓur des oliviers, tout en Ă©tant Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied du centre d'UzĂšs, ce spacieux mas est l'endroit rĂȘvĂ© pour sĂ©journer en famille ou entre amis dans cette splendide rĂ©gion. Serenity in Uzes

Complete serenity! A beautiful 2 story home ( I called it a villa) amid an olive orchard. Away from road noise, and just a short walk to town for cheese and wine. The Saturday market in Uzes is quite amazing. I stayed a week taking a local cooking class with a small group. We were met with a beautifully set Provence breakfast table every morning. We had everything we needed. Comfort, beauty, serenity! Our charming hostess, Chantal, gave us plenty of recommendations for shopping, dining, and walking. She is wonderful! I really hated to leave. I could sit for hours on the patio drinking the local wines and listening to the birds! It was the best home away from home a lady could ask for!! I highly recommend this as a retreat. There's even a small romantic cottage perfect for couples.

Superbe propriete pour sejour en famille

Nous avons adore notre sejour au mas des Olivettes. Avant notre arrivee, pendant notre sejour et suite a notre sejour, Chantal, la proprietaire, a ete tres pro-active pour s'assurer que notre sejour se passerait au mieux et que nous ne manquerions de rien. La propriete est magnifique et parfaitement conforme aux photos du site. Une grande maison, amenagee avec gout, dans un joli parc d'oliviers avec une piscine securisee, a 15 minutes a pied du village. En une semaine nous n'avons pu decouvrir qu'une petite partie de tout ce que la region a a offrir donc c'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrions passer du temps aux Olivettes pour continuer notre exploration de la region ! L'installation de la clim dans deux des chambres a ete bien appreciee. L'installation de ventilateurs dans les chambres enfants serait a considerer pour parfaire le comfort. Quoiqu'il en soit, une location a recommender vivement !

Merci Chantal pour votre accueil et pour tous les renseignements prĂ©cieux qui ont rendu notre sĂ©jour inoubliable. Le confort des chambres, les Ă©quipements mĂ©nagers, la piscine et le coin piscine avec tous les conforts de douche et de WC, ne laissent rien de plus a dĂ©sirer pour un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able. Uzes est une petite ville trĂšs charmante et seulement a 15 minutes a pied du moment qu'on prenne le bon chemin. :). ActivitĂ©s: Super. Les fĂ©eries du Gard , les dĂ©gustations de vins, le marche d'Uzes, Port Camargue et son restaurant sur la plage les Pieds Nus... Sans rien dire de plus nous revenons l’annĂ©e prochaine. Magnifique lieu de vacances

La maison est spacieuse et fonctionnelle, mĂȘme Ă  11 personnes chacune, chacun trouvera son espace de libertĂ©. L’environnement autour des oliviers est magnifique. Bien sĂ»r Uzes est Ă  proximitĂ©. La rĂ©novation du mazet apportera un plus pour ceux qui l’occuperont.. Nous remercions vivement Chantal pour son accueil et sa disponibilitĂ©. Nous n’avons pu goĂ»ter au plaisir de la vĂ©randa et de la piscine hiver oblige. Une adresse Ă  recommander.

TrÚs bonne appréciation

Maison trÚs agréable, spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Prendre ses repas sous la pergola en regardant l'oliveraie est un vrai plaisir. Le paysage procure de la sérénité. Le jardin est trÚs grand et a été trÚs apprécié des enfants, comme la piscine, réellement entiÚrement clÎturée, ce qui n'est pas si fréquent. UzÚs est tout prÚs et nous y sommes toujours allés à pied (15mn à peu prÚs). Les propriétaires sont charmants et se soucient vraiment de notre confort. Chantal Eykens a promis de nouvelles améliorations pour l'été prochain. Si nous décidons de revenir dans cette région l'année prochaine, c'est là que nous viendrons, c'est sûr.
