Welcome to our family cottage! If you are looking for a simple, comfortable, and relaxing getaway right on the water, this is the spot for you.

This is a 4-season cottage located right on the scenic Trent River between Campbellford and Havelock. It’s a wonderful place to unplug, kick back, and enjoy some time away with family or friends. There are 4 bedrooms so that the whole group can comfortably sleep. Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Bedroom 3: Double Bed, Bedroom 4: One Double + Twin Bunkbed. There are 2 full bathrooms with walk in showers. This home is wheel chair accessible.

You don't have to go far to enjoy the water—the backyard is your playground! Jump off the dock and into the river for a swim or you can go fishing for bass, walleye, and pike. There is also a boat launch located close by if you are bringing a watercraft.

When you want to explore, downtown Campbellford is just a short 15-minute drive away. Make sure to check out a couple of our favourite highlights:Dooher’s Bakery: Famous for their cream filled donuts. Empire Cheese Factory: Perfect for grabbing a bag of fresh, squeaky local cheese curds. Ferris Provincial Park: Take a walk across the beautiful Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge and trails. Westben Theatre: Watch a live concert or musical in a restored barn in the countryside.

Please note the cottage water is non-potable (not drinkable). We provide a water cooler with one 5 gallon water jug.

Such a fantastic weekend we had! The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and had a blast on the dock and in the water. We’d happily love to stay here again!

Fantastic spot on the Trent River. We had plenty of space with 6 people. Well stocked and clean. Huge yard with lots of seating and great sunset view. And still close to town in case supplies are needed. Swimming was great, but with the very soft bottom and potential zebra muscles, swim shoes are a must. Mark was a great host and replied to messages quickly. We enjoyed our time!

I went home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after just two nights at this cozy cottage.The cottage is even more lovely than it appears in the photos. With two covered decks overlooking the river, there was a choice of beautiful spots to enjoy coffee in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening (both outdoor areas protected from sun & rain!) There is a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and two "rolling" picnic tables for outdoor meals or games. The kitchen although small, is well stocked with everything you need. The hosts left us a much-appreciated gift of local corn and were attentive to all questions asked. We made use of the kayaks and explored the Trent River in which we also swam and were quite surprised by how clear and warm the water was. The hosts provide all sorts of games & activities for both indoor and outdoor entertainment: Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Card games, puzzles...Volleyball, badminton, croquet, water toys...the list goes on! This place is almost perfect!!

My family just stayed at this newly listed property. It was absolutely beautiful. The water was clear and warm and there was swimming right off the dock. The cottage was large with space for all 9 guests. The hosts provided kayaks, life jackets and lawn games. We had a campfire at night. We brought our dogs and there was a lot of room for them both inside and outside. The price was very reasonable and communication with the host was quick and excellent. I have nothing negative to say. The listing photos are accurate but honestly the house is more beautiful in person. The town is a short drive away with a pizza place, No Frills and other stores nearby. I give this rental 5 stars. You do need to wear water shoes because there are zebra mussels. Thankfully the host told us in advance. We also brought drinking water. I’m very grateful to our hosts for their kindness and hospitality. We had a great time.

My family(8) recently stayed cottage, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained everything was. The cottage is even more stunning in person than it appears in the listing photos.The setting is peaceful, scenic, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time by the water.One of our favorite features was being able to swim/fish directly from the dock whenever we wanted.
