Welcome to our comfortable, original / modernised railway cottage with fun decor, fully equipped kitchen, wood fire, heat pump, fly screens, warm beds and an open plan living area. This home is in a perfect location for rest and relaxation or to access the mountain for skiing and the many walking and biking tracks near by. 47 Railway Row is a perfect base if you’re in town for an event or to explore the region. The railway is accross the road with the station, coffee shops, restaurants at the junction a short walk away. Please visit the Ohakune Railway Museum located near the station.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
There is one park outside the house and three on the road side. Be very careful if parked over the road traffic can be busy. We advise not to allow kids to play across the road.
Please leave recycling and rubbish in the bins at the side gate. Save power. Don’t leave the heat pump on at night or when you are not at the house. Turn off all heaters and appliances when you leave.
Bikes, skis and snowboards can be stored around the back of the house through the side gate. Please leave koha (donation) towards fire wood use.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
