Spacious Home at McGinnis Point
The large, newly renovated, 4/3.5 main home on the point features gorgeous undisturbed views of Castello island with breathtaking sunset views. The home sleeps 10 in beds. The HUGE island has seating for 8 with an additional 8 person dining table. The kitchen with double oven, fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, coffee pot and Keurig is open to the large living room with views to the large covered patio and lake views.
The first master bedroom features a king bed with an en suite master bathroom. A huge walk in shower and private toilet room round out this private master retreat. The second master bedroom with a queen bed has private patio access with a large walk in shower. The downstairs powder room includes a patio door with easy access to the backyard.
The upstairs loft has a shuffle board and seating area.
The first upstairs bunk room features two sets of twin bunkbeds to sleep 4. The second upstairs room has two twin beds. The upstairs rooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The 2500 square foot patio has TVs, fans, seating for 20+ and looks towards the beach area with sandy entry and deep water cove. Boat parking is available on one side of the dock. This home can be combined with the Cottage Home at McGinnis Point, listing#2026117 . Perfect for large family reunions, and gatherings.

Immaculate Property

McGinnis Point does not disappoint. The home is well furnished, clean, and the outdoor patio space has incredible views for those sunrises and sunsets. This is our third time staying at this location. Lots of outdoor space for kiddos to play in the grass area or fish.

Smelly venue.

So I communicated with one person, another person showed up to meet me to check out the venue. Told us we would be the first wedding at this venue, which was not true. Told us he could see 400 to 500 people out on that point no problem, I responded we will only have about 100, he stated that would be no problem. I said I had rents two port a potties, he replied that shouldn’t be necessary. So then I go ahead and book the venue online with the original contact on Vrbo. Mind you they both know we are having a wedding with about 100 people, or at least the person that met us should of relayed all this to the online contact. So then the day we check in there is a third person we meet, who had no idea what we were doing or how long we would be there. Also the venue smelled like sewer now. We had an issue with sprinklers and I finally met the the first contact who came along with the second contact at this time. He was absolutely horrified at the size of the wedding, the tent, and the DJ coming. He also said he was concerned about the septic with that many people, which I had taken of care until the second contact said it wasn’t necessary, stated if he knew is was going to be this big we would of had a deposit, which he should of known, I did communicate this with me second contact. So everything was good. We continue with the sewer smell unfortunately as the cottage back up. I feel for all the residents that have to smell that on a daily basis. The whole back of the house was full of cobwebs and dirty on the house and the patios were also dirty and not pressure washed. I would not recommend this property. Over priced and stinky.

Great weekend

Two other families joined us at this house for a weekend while our boyss played baseball at Rocker B. Location was excellent and after our games this was a fun spot to get back to and kids played in the water, football on the grass and fished off the dock. Would definitely rent again!

This house is incredible. Communication was quick and accommodating. House is as advertised and more. Wonderful beds. Wonderful linens. Kitchen is well stocked. Beach access to water. Caught dozens of fish off dock. Clay and team had house AC on and cooled when we arrived. Could not have asked for a better weekend on the lake. 5* property and then some. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The property is just beautiful. We loved the open living and kitchen area with the huge windows. There was lots of seating out on the patio as well. Our boys enjoyed the shuffleboard table upstairs. We brought our boat and had no problem with the dock provided at the house. Our only complaint was the poor water pressure. Not sure if something can be done about that or not. Regardless, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Had an amazing experience. This property is great for kids of all ages. Our little ones played on the private beach most of the day while the big kids went out boating. Very clean, nice and extremely relaxing. I will be renting this place again in the future.

Celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday

This is a beautiful home and a wonderful lake property. My husband and I took our daughter a couple of her friends to celebrate her birthday. They loved the upstairs area and bunk room as well as the loft/game room area. The yard and back porch area was the perfect area to hang out, and with lots of easy lake access the girls went swimming frequently. I would highly recommend.

Great Lake get away

Perfect for a family retreat!

This was the perfect place for our family gathering. We had four generations under one roof! The home is stunning, but without a doubt the best part was the yard and location. It was perfect to be able to walk right out into the water and just lounge or fish all day. Plenty of parking and the sunsets were spectacular.

Vacation on the Point

Amazing place to enjoy a lake get away. the house was perfectly positioned on the a point and you have a beautiful view of the lake from every room of the house. house is very spacious and all the beds and furniture are very comfy. house has everything you need. we were pleased to see that there was a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom had plenty of towels and toilet paper. Clay with Lush properties was very communicative and was onsite to greet us and give us a tour of the house which in my opinion was a great person touch.

Great place to stay on the lake.

We loved the house and it’s location. The local boat ramp was very convenient and we loved using the private dock at the house. Highly recommend this property. We’ll be back again soon.
