About this property

'Glenworth House' - Heritage Berry Mountain Estate

Summary:

Set within Glenworth Estate on Berry Mountain, Glenworth House is a grand 1890s country estate managed by multi award winning Supercalla Private Properties. With Victoria Hampshire interiors, sweeping valley to ocean views, generous living spaces, a wood fireplace, verandah, fire pit, orchard and farm setting, it is made for large families, milestone stays, wedding guests and time together.

The Space:

Glenworth House is a grand heritage estate set within the rolling landscape of Berry Mountain, professionally managed by Supercalla Private Properties, a multi award winning boutique holiday accommodation team known for its unmatched level of care and attention to detail.

Built in 1890 as the Mayor of Berry’s estate, the home carries a rare sense of history, scale and country romance. Today, it has been beautifully reimagined for modern group stays, with Victoria Hampshire interiors bringing warmth, polish and relaxed sophistication to the original estate character.

Set within Glenworth Estate, the home feels wonderfully removed from everyday life, surrounded by farmland, orchard, bushland, cattle, chickens, creek access and sweeping views across the valley towards the ocean. It is a place for big family gatherings, milestone birthdays, wedding weekends and long awaited time together.

Inside, the house unfolds across two levels with generous living, dining and entertaining spaces. There is room to gather and room to retreat, making it ideal for multi generational families, groups of friends and guests who want the feeling of a shared country house without being on top of each other.

The main living area is anchored by a wood burning fireplace, creating a beautiful place to settle in after a day exploring Berry, Kangaroo Valley or Seven Mile Beach. Firewood is provided, and most bedrooms include electric room heaters for cooler nights.

The kitchen and dining areas are made for group stays, whether you are preparing relaxed breakfasts, gathering for long lunches, or bringing in a private chef for a special evening at home. The house has the kind of scale and charm that makes meals feel like occasions.

Glenworth House sleeps up to 14 guests across six bedrooms. There is one king bedroom, three queen bedrooms, one double bedroom, and one bedroom with four single beds. The layout works beautifully for large families, wedding guests, milestone celebrations and groups of friends.

Outside, the verandah and lawn bring the estate setting to life. Start the day with coffee and views, gather around the outdoor dining table for lunch, cook on the BBQ, wander through the orchard, visit the chickens, or watch the cattle moving through the paddocks.

As the day softens, the fire pit becomes the natural meeting place. Pour a glass of wine, settle in under the stars and enjoy the quiet of the mountain. The setting feels peaceful and private, yet Berry village, Kangaroo Valley and Seven Mile Beach are all within easy reach.

As part of the Supercalla collection, Glenworth House is cared for by Bede, Rob and their local team, who bring a warm, design led approach to every stay. The property is thoughtfully prepared before arrival, beautifully presented and supported by people who know the South Coast deeply.
