Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I stayed for a quick getaway for our anniversary and to attend a wedding in early spring (off-peak), and it was so amazingly quiet and peaceful. Accentuated with lots of great Vermont touches. Watching the solo loon just off-shore each morning was nice as well.

Likely because it was the off season, but this was a quiet, beautiful spot on the lake with great views. The house is charming and the hosts super accommodating.

Coming back again!

This was a perfect lake house with canoe, kayaks two adult and 2 kids safety jackets. We were right at the lake and could see the fall foliage. We did barbecue and bonfire. You can also see a few boats passing by while you sip tea on the yard. Everything about the house and location was 10. Sarah is very responsive and helpful host. I will definitely come back here again.

We, Sarah, Stacey and our two kids, Amos and Wallis, currently take care of this house. My great aunts purchased this house in the early 60s and our family enjoyed many years of picnics, holidays, swimming, fishing and family gatherings. The house was later sold to another family in the early 80s. By fate or luck, we were recently able to purchase this property and bring it back to our family so that we may gather here again, but also share it with others. We think it is a special house in a great location and would like to share it with you.
