A Private Home furnished by a local interior designer in a sophisticated country style awaits you! Conveniently located one block from Main Street, walk to dining, shops and art galleries. The Point Reyes National Seashore, beaches and Point Reyes Lighthouse are only a short drive away.

Relax at Lavender House for a week and experience all the unique local specialties Point Reyes has to offer; Brickmaiden Breads, Bovine Bakery, Point Reyes Books, Cabaline General Store, Leona's, Vita, Culture Shop and of course Toby’s Feed Barn, host of the Saturday Farmer’s Market (seasonal).

Lavendar Cottage is without a doubt the cleanest and best equipped holiday rental I've ever stayed in! Everything was absolutely pristine and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for making delicious meals! The location is perfect, just a 3-minute walk into Pt. Reyes Station; and Eileen is a treasure trove of information and suggestions! The cottage itself is simply adorable, and the double living area would make it perfect for a family! We had such a lovely, peaceful stay. This petite historic home is immaculately clean, has a well-stocked kitchen, high quality and characterful decor and furnishings, charming period details, and delightful touches like a fun DVD collection and library of books, nice toiletries, plush towels, robe, etc. I felt like I was staying in a dear friend's comfortable home rather than a generic vacation rental. Proximity to downtown Point Reyes is ideal (no car needed for groceries or dining). Quiet time on the back porch is blissful. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative yet respectful of privacy.I really hope I can return again one day!
