Great location

Our family and friends stayed here over 4th of July week. It was a great time. The pool was a nice treat to enjoy after time at the beach. We walked to the beach 2x a day and was convenient! The kids enjoyed the candy store/arcade/golf across the street. We felt safe and were able to enjoy the fireworks from the house.

Pool was very dirty and the smoke detectors went off 3 times, once in the middle of the night but overall the place was nice.

Turn-off upon entering. Carpet going upstairs was filthy. Loose tiles in bathroom. Grill in pool area unusable because it was so filthy.

Beautiful Property, small issues

When we arrived at the house it was late. Had to call the help desk line because it was not clear how to check in. You have to go to a different location to get the key to get in and then go back to property. To me it was not stated clearly on the email. Once we arrived in the property, it was not as clean as I would like and actually it was items left inside the property (toothpaste, toothbrush, floss inside master suite) and outside (water bottles on porch) as well as water left in the tub. The comforter in the king room also had blood stains on it. I called the desk again and was told someone would be there tomorrow to clean up. I had to call again the next morning to see when they would be coming as it was close to 10 am and no one had said anything. Two cleaners did arrive and they took my comforter to get washed as it had a stain on it, they never returned the comforter and I had to sleep cold that Saturday night. The manager did agree to refund me some of the money for my issues and for that I would give a 4 star however, not returning the comforter and having to sleep in the cold was very inconvenient. It was a nice location, the neighbor had a dog and poop was left all over the place. The kitchen was functional and overall it was pretty decent besides not being 100% clean and my comforter with blood stains not being returned.
