This was a great cabin on the water in close proximity to the western entrance to GSMNP. This was our first time on this side of the park and it was very nice. While at the cabin we spent hours by the fire pit down by the water. When it was raining we were at the picnic table under the covered porch or in the spacious living room. We had a very nice stay.

We brought my elderly parents here for a getaway. The view and the river was perfect - the house was in great shape and was perfect for our needs- we could not have asked for a better Hostess. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed each other’s fellowship. Made lots of great memories.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Immaculate property right on the river. The outdoor seating area was beautiful. We were in the area to visit grandkids and the backyard area was a hit. The host was so helpful. Will definitely rebook.

We come to Walland every year and rent a property on the river. This is by far the best property we have ever stayed at! Easy check-in and great communication. Elaine was responsive and took care of all our needs quickly. Property is perfect. Right on the water with plenty of space to swim, fish, read on the deck, cookout- whatever you want! Three porches with a picnic table and grill and plenty of seating. Huge fire pit and deck on the water. We watched wildlife everywhere everyday. Close to Townsend, Cases Cove and Maryville. Knoxville about 30minutes away. This property is perfect and we will stay again for sure!

We have been vacationing along the Little River for five years as a family, and this house has been our favorite by far🥰The river access is perfect! The sitting area has plenty of space, plenty of seating, and a firepit large enough for everyone to enjoy.Getting in and out of the river couldn't be any easier, for adults and children alike. We spent a lot of time in our tubes and river chairs enjoying the peace and serenity, allowing the river to recharge our batteries and slow life down.The property is easy to find and is only 10 minutes from the main stretch in Townsend. A short drive to the National Park makes this location ideal for staying on the Peaceful SideElaine was a superb host and even offered us early check-in on our arrival day. Thanks Elaine for sharing your property with us. We hope to be welcomed back again!

Great time at Riverbend

The house is close to all the places we wanted to go: Cades Cove, The lost Sea and all different hiking trails in the Great Smoky mountains. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us I even caught a few fish on the river property.
