The chalets were a great weekend getaway from Denver with quick access to Monarch Mountain and a quaint, nice cabin for our group to spend the weekend at.

Great Spot for a Family!
The creekside chalets were a fantastic place to spend a weekend! They were kind, communicative, and easy to contact when we had questions. Our 18 month old kid had a blast, and we appreciated the outside play areas on the property. Checkout was easy and everything was very clear and well marked. I recommend without reservations!

convenience, comfort, value, considerate touches
Beautiful and Cozy Creekside Cabin! How thoughtful your conveniences! Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dish and hand soap and even dish towels as well as a generous supply of fluffy bath towels. A clothes drying line in the shower for after-use of our very own hot tub! High quality pots and pans! Soft and luxurious mattresses even on the pullouts (that ALONE is worth returning!) We visited the area for skiing at Monarch and have never had the pleasure of being this close before (about 9 miles?). What a jewel of a location! We look so forward to returning again to ski but also to try out the cabin in a different season. So many possibilities!!!

We are very excited to be the new owners of this incredible property! We have been exploring the Arkansas Valley for a combined 35 years and finally made Salida our home in 2014. From the moment we walked on the property, it was love at first sight. The beautiful groves of aspen trees and the vibrant creek running through the resort seem to perfectly capture the best of the Arkansas Valley. The chalets have a unique layout that creates an ideal atmosphere for socializing, relaxing, and enjoying the dynamic mountain energy of the property.

We both said, “This is my kind of place, I don’t ever want to leave!” It’s like a postcard. Our shared vision for owning and operating a resort took root. We are committed to creating a resort that centers around the guest experience and allows people to relax, rejuvenate & enjoy this beautiful valley. We are both very passionate about the great outdoors and are skiing, mountain biking, and whitewater enthusiasts. It is a dream come true to own a property that allows us to share this remarkable place with others. We hope you come stay with us and enjoy the chalets with your family and friends!
