Home was amazing. Clean, well-appointed, great location. Owner greeted us upon arrival and was pleasant and answered any questions we had. Very enjoyable stay.
We loved our time at this cottage. So clean and beautifully remodeled. We loved everything about our stay!!!! And we had the chance to meet our host. He was so gracious and took time to tell us about the property renovations. Excellent experience!!!
The care put in to upgrading this house really shows, from the modern kitchen to the floors and the spacious bathrooms. Heads up - it really is a double bed, not a queen bed, so be prepared to cozy up! Linens are high quality and comfortable, neighborhood is quiet (normal traffic noise) and seems safe (we had no issues). Instant water heater, great lighting. Fantastic location for visiting the Historic Triangle Area and the College. Really enjoyed eating on the enclosed porch and watching the squirrels and birds., We had a great time, were very comfortable, and would recommend this cottage to our friends and family.
Clean, well stocked, convenient to shopping, dining, and activities. Host is wonderful, helpful, maintains the property on a regular basis, and is interesting to talk to.
We rented this cottage to go to a wedding at Colonial Williamsburg. I had my husband and my son and his fiancé. The cottage is beautiful. Better than the photos! The cottage is convenient to Busch Gardens and less than 10 minutes to Colonial Williamsburg. The kitchen has everything you need to cook in. I cooked breakfast everyday. The bathrooms seem newly renovated and are beautiful. The soaking tub off the master bedroom is fabulous. I brought Epsom salts and essential oils to soak every day we were there! Parking is off street and roomy. The sunporch is a nice bonus! I loved having a sunporch. Nice quiet place to chill or to read. Lots of room in the cottage for four adults without "bumping into" each other. I highly recommend this cottage.
Superior property. Best we have visited. Beautifully renovated and completely restored to its 1918 glory. Wonderful location. Close to every attraction. Armando was a terrific host. We returned to Williamsburg since we visited here during our 1968 honeymoon. This lovely cottage made our return even more special. Looking forward to a return soon. This is a super five star accomodation.
I can’t say enough good things about Armando’s property and process for renting it. He is very responsive to emails, called to make sure we arrived safely, the house is fantastic, especially the kitchen, and the location is extremely convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, Busch Gardens, and Water Country. It’s also just down the road from Williamsburg Winery. Highly recommend this property!
Beautiful, immaculate home in lovely, quiet neighborhood. You can tell this home is managed with lots of TLC. A big plus for us also was it’s close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestowne Settlement. We hope to rent this home again
Wonderful property with a historic charm and modern amenities. Would stay again!
Slight confusion regarding extra person fee for a family of four, but it was clarified and resolved.
We found the cottage to be very clean & well stocked with needed supplies. Lovely sun porch for morning & evening relaxing. Location to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, & Yorktown was fantastic..
We absolutely adored this property. It has been beautifully restored/updated.
We made the trip up with our two small children for the weekend hoping to spend plenty of time not in the home; however, the weather had other plans. It was a wonderful place to snuggle up as a family for a lazy day and evening.
As a side note, I will be using this beautiful home as a baseline for remodeling my own!
Thank you!
So well done in renovation that it could be on HGTV. Decorated beautifully with all amenities provided. It is even better than we expected and we’re already planning our next stay.
I rented this property for a long weekend getaway for me, my daughter and daughter-in-law. Between the two of them they have five children six and under. The goal was for them to have time away to recharge and for all us to bond even more.
This house was perfect! The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do and was just the right size for the three of us. It is clear much time has been spent restoring this jewel. It has been done well with with much thought to making it a positive experience. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
The house is beautifully maintained and the interior is arranged and furnished nicely. Visitors from out of town will find it to be well situated, in easy reach of both Colonial Williamsburg and Bush Gardens.
I cannot say enough great things about this BEAUTIFUL home!! The home was built in 1918 and all renovations put you in the 21st century BUT has the touches of 1918. The kitchen and master bath were grand but my favorite was the sunroom where we drank coffee in the mornings and had breakfast. Would love to stay again at this very lovely home. The owner was there for anything we may have needed. Thanks again Armando!
Amazing experience. The home is completely updated and spotless. Great location, close to colonial Williamsburg and yet still offered a quite retreat form commercial areas. We typically only use VRBO rentals and this one is definitely top of our list. Thank you for a fantastic weekend.
The house was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much. Perfect for 2 people. Very cozy, clean and a nice quiet neighborhood centrally located. We enjoyed visiting with Armando & his wife. Very friendly and accommodating!
This property is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve experienced. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the back porch at breakfast and dinner. The house is nicely located with easy access to Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. The Williamsburg Winery is just down the road. The historic Chickahominy House restaurant is less than five minutes away. Armando is an excellent host and very responsive to questions. It was a pleasure to meet Armando and learn more about all he did to fully renovate this property.
Visited Bush Gardens and water country.very close for both ideal location only a 5 minutes drive to both
Very good property, would definitely stay there again
What a wonderful experience...Armando had a beautiful, clean, charming home.. we look forward to coming back!
