So much better than the pictures

Myself and 5 friends stayed here as our friend was getting married in the village. The house had everything we needed and was much nicer than the pictures. The annex was also lovely. Would definitely recommend.

A magical 2 weeks in paradise

Cannot thank Daniella enough for 2 weeks with by husband and daughter and her family the house was perfect to enjoy the many experiences the area had to offer days spent having morning coffee in village buying baguettes for the day outing to frejus gorge du verdon aix en provence and afternoons by the pool the kids never uttered the word bored tv had Netflix for after dinner wind down everyone slept like babies with shutters keeping room dark the house itself was big enough for us all outdoor eating area a special memory of long dinner and morning coffees taking in the view would highly recommend our adventure to cotignac will have a very special place in our hearts as will Danielle’s warm hospitality

Mixed Experience - Potential for Improvement.

Group of 7 Adults over 50's. Main house all bedrooms en-suite no wardrobes. Small House Kitchen Living room Spiral Staircase to bedroom with an en-suite. impossible to take large suitcase up staircase. Access the property can be challenging, both entrances involve climbing stairs. Outside the property features lovely area with trees & plants. However, the crazy paving and steps can become quite slippery when wet, & lead to some concerns about safety. The property is old & in dire need of refurbishment. Some may describe it as rustic, this was not our collective thought. Location brilliant this added to the overall appeal of our stay. Size of the property for a large group: Good. Internet in the main house: Adequate; Small house, non-existent. Standard of sanitary ware and washing facilities: Poor in dire need of updating. Kitchen facilities and equipment: Felt like they were from a flea market, here the facilities & equipment lacked quality & were not to a standard we expected. Finish décor and furniture: dated & desperately in need of modernisation. Pool Tiny Decking needs fixing loungers dated. Parking: great for small car, not good midsize. Rooms no hanging space no hangers we all lived out of our suitcase. Owner, Daniela: Great communication skills, very polite, and helpful. We appreciated Daniela's willingness to assist us during our stay. Sophie, owner's helper: First class her communication was exceptional, sharing information about local area & places to visit.

To respond to your comments - You stayed with your friends 1 week and the weather was very bad , it rained Most OF THE DAY , EVERY DAY - I can understand your frustration as you couldn’t really appreciate our home inside and outside as all our guests did until now. (please go on booking, and other platforms so you can see the excellents reviews 10/10) Suitcase upstair in small house - you could ask, i would have send someone to help. POOL not tiny : 12m X3 Floor around pool repared one planche Stairs - it was sleppery after days of rains Garage - I have got a Tiguan VW, no problem to park , we do that careffully , its a narrow street. you can always load/ unload and park parking free on the same street , rue de la cadelle no 5 Vintage furniture - yes definitely , this is our taste we love it, and that what make it so unique. Same as on published photos. Wifi - main house : excellent, small house Annexe -wifi was fixed. its works very well. .

Dejlig sommerferie

Vi var en familie på 8 i alderen 1 1/2 år til 85 år, som alle havde en fantastisk dejlig ferie. Huset og de udendørs rammer er så smukke, og vores vært har været så hjælpsom og i mødekommende. Vi kunne ikke ønske os et bedre sted at holde ferie. Vi vil meget gerne komme tilbage en anden gang.
