This spacious ocean bluff condo, unit 109, called 'Queens Hideaway' has sweeping views of the Pacific and is now totally refurnished by interior designers to become the most elegant and comfortable unit in Pu'u Poa! Modern, large lounging sectionals and updated furnishings add luxury and comfort to your stay. A full wall of sliders facing the ocean makes indoor/outdoor living a beautiful enhancement. Newly installed A/C makes your stay comfortable during the hotter months.Modern stone enhances the large gourmet kitchen while the master bath boasts a large double shower. Our fully stocked kitchen makes cooking easy!
Our complex has a large pool perched on the cliff overlooking the ocean and plenty of lounge chairs for sun bathing.
Privacy and ocean/Bali Hai views enchant our guests as whale and dolphin watching is a favorite pastime. It's all about location and Pu'u Poa has one of the few ocean side units that are amongst the amazing beauty of the North Shore of Kauai. The most beautiful beaches, tropical mountain vistas and enchanting waterfalls among exotic jungle folage. Also located next to the 5 star Hotel 1, guests can walk over for an elegant dinner and tropical drinks with sweeping Bali Hai views. This condo gets its name from Hideaways beach, a secluded beach, which is directly below the condo, down a fun hiking trail. This beach is the perfect place to watch thrilling surf or snorkel with the turtles, depending on the ocean’s mood. Also, from Queen's Bath, one of the most unique and refreshing swimming areas on the island. The 'pool' is carved into a lava shelf and is the size of several large swimming pools and is located just down the street and down a majestic hiking trail. The trail is closed in winter but opens in the summer minths. br>
Two top rated golf courses are very close, Princeville Center, walking/cycling trails, Prince Albert Park, Queen’s Bath and a short drive to all the amazing beaches of the north shore including one of the top 10 rated beaches in the world 'Hanalei Bay' . Location, location, location. The unit was great, but the location was even better. It has the easiest access of any property in Princeville to Hideaway Beach, which is one of the nicest beaches on the island (and the main beach for all of Princeville), in my opinion. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were lots of beach toys, which came in handy. I would definitely stay here again.

Just what we expected

Great view, great space The main bedroom is amazing. the other not quite as good (if 2 couples you'll fight over main). Remember that all the beach equipment is in closet on patio. we didn't realize till last day. Would definitely stay again.

Great ocean view!

I would say this is one of the best locations in Princeville. Near the end of the road, spectacular view of the ocean, very quite and a very nice, comfortable 2 bedroom unit on the ground floor. The unit is well stocked and was very comfortable to stay as well as cook in. There were 5 of us staying so our daughter had the fold out sofa bed which she said was quite comfortable.

Beautiful Property

We had a great stay. Home was clean and beautiful. Owner was very responsive to any questions. We especially enjoyed the snorkel equipment and beach chairs. The biggest hurdle for us 60+ year olds was the trek to Hideaway beach. The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling phenomenal but the trail is a bit challenging. I would recommend this property.

Awesome! The beautiful of Kauai is exemplified by this location with stunning views, waterfalls, oceanfront, amazing sunsets. The unit is beautifully furnished and has a nice lanai that extends to the common grass area of the complex. The owners were also very accommodating to work with. 5 Stars!

Family Vacation

This was the perfect spot for our family of 5! The views were breathtaking. We ate breakfast and lunch outside overlooking the ocean. The pool was a short walk through the grass and our kids enjoyed swimming there as well. The unit was fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Our 2 daughters shared the one BR, my husband and I the other and our son slept on the pull-out couch and had a nice area to himself. We loved being on the north part of the island. Hanalei Bay was amazing and so many beaches nearby with snorkeling or swimming/surfing. Hiking too. The only negative of this unit is it was down two flights of stairs. This was not a problem at all for us and it wasn't that many stairs but my mom would have had a hard time with it especially carrying luggage. Besides that the unit was PERFECT! Hopefully we will be back to the area and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property, you won't be disappointed

This is our 3rd time at this particular complex and the 1st stay at Janet's unit. Just not words to describe Janet's unit and this awesome complex, we will be back. The lanai is amazing with awesome views, sunsets and whale watching were beyond description. Amenities and décor were exceptional, plus the fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to make meals at "home" was a huge plus. The north shore is a great location with so many things to do. Convenient to, hiking (Na Pali coast) snorkeling at Ke'e beach, restaurants and shopping. Hideaways beach just a short walk from the condo, interesting hike down to the water. Janet was very response and accommodating..

This condo is stunning, it will wow you when you walk in the front door! Amazing ocean views and gorgeous sunsets every night from the lanei. We could even see sea turtles swimming in the water below! Walking access to the path down to Hideaway beach, which was a fabulous snorkeling and beach spot with shade. Excellent communication from the host, Janet. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we can’t wait to return again!

Amazing location and comfortable unit

My partner and I loved watching the whales and surfers from the large lanai. We appreciated the nice beach chairs and it looked like there was enough snorkel equipment and boogie boards in the equipment closet to outfit a crowd. When we accidentally locked ourselves out of the unit, Steve helped get us back in lickety-split.

Wonderful

I've stayed in many different spots in the Princeville area including several in this Condo (Pua Poa). I'd have to say this is one of the best. We enjoyed the ability to walk out onto the lawn and the open patio not to mention the ability to cook and dine outside regardless of what the weather was doing. The kitchen is great for cooking, the beds comfortable and the owners are generous with beach toys and other outdoor items.

Growing up in Seattle I always dreamed of beaches, tropical scenery and warm days and star filled warm nights. I have traveled to many of these types of places but feel that the north shore of Kauai is the most beautiful I've seen. When I'm at our condo the beauty and serenity make me truly feel like I'm in paradise.

Why they chose this property

I absolutely loved the views of the Ocean, Bali Hai and the mountains with majestic waterfalls....I felt I could not find a more beautiful setting and loved the modern, open floor plan with large lanais for eating and entertaining.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location! This unit and the complex has it all! There are not many ocean front condos on the north shore...and this one is tops them all!
