Spectacular Oceanfront Condo at Hideaways Beach, Bali Hai Views, AC all rooms

Experience spectacular ocean views and dazzling sunsets, in your private luxury vacation residence. This condo is on the second level six steps down with ocean and mountain views. A/C in all rooms, both bedrooms and the open concept kitchen living room area. Our spacious indoor living room and two outdoor lanais offer expansive views of the Pacific Ocean and Makana Mountain (called Bali Hai in the movie South Pacific). This spacious, contemporary, and elegantly decorated home is designed with all of your vacation needs in mind.

The Master suite has exquisite ocean views, a King size bed, private lanai with a table, chairs and lounges, and a deluxe, private bathroom with a dual vanity, and a large walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a lovely Queen size bed and an adjacent bathroom with tub and shower head.

The upgraded kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a large beautiful 12 foot peninsula, and ample space for preparing meals and entertaining. The adjacent dining area is perfect for cozy family dinners or romantic setting to view the most beautiful and the bluest ocean in the whole wide world.

Utilize our high speed internet, TV/DVD in living room, beach gear and toys, are all available for use. Relax on our two private oceanfront lanais, or walk down the secluded pathway down to Hideaways beach or Puu Poa beach.

Our brand new swimming pool, and resurfaced tennis/pickle ball courts are available for your enjoyment. The world-class Makai golf course is located steps from our vacation home.

Within easy walking distance there are 7 restaurants - 3 in the 1 Hotel, Hideaway Pizza, Happy Talk, Wiki Pizza, and the Makai Grill. A little further (a couple miles along the golf course and ocean view) is Nanea at the Westin, and in the Princeville Center there is B's Kitchen, Tiki Iniki, plus a few others. And on Saturday there is a farmers market with a bunch of food vendors in the Princeville Center.

In addition to B's and Tiki Iniki, the Princeville Shopping center has a Foodland grocery market, Lappert’s ice cream shop, North Shore General Store, gas station, several boutiques, 2 banks and post office.

10 minutes away is world-famous Hanalei Bay where a long stretch of white sand beach and the famous pier awaits you. The many restaurants, shops, and the Hanalei beach community is a memorable experience. Enjoy surfing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, shell picking, and other activities. Its all public and no fees! Many hiking trails along the ocean within a stones throw. And an absolutely gorgeous 2 mile walk starting at Puu Poa along golf courses perched on the cliffs above the ocean.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The ocean views were spectacular and it was a delight to see the mountains each time we walked out of the house. Having air conditioning was a nice perk with our baby and the humidity. The host was so accommodating and helpful.Another nice perk was being able to walk to two beaches and the 1 Hotel for a morning coffee and afternoon cocktail.Thank you for the stay.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Lucy’s condo. It was exactly as described and pictured. Condo was great with everything we needed. Views from the lanai are fantastic. Short walk to beaches and several restaurants. Easy drive to Hanalei. Nice relaxing stay.

A Week in Paradise

This gem exceeded our expectations. It is so clean and comfortable. This property is beautiful. The two lanais have amazing views. We spent so much time on the lanai and even got to do some stargazing on a clear night. This isn't just a house, it is a home, it is loved and well taken care of. It has beautiful art, the bed is super comfy. We loved our stay here! Plus, the owners are excellent communicators. Highly recommended!

Princeville Condo in Kauai

We spent 4 nights in Lucy and Doug's condo. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It is beautifully located with a great view of the ocean. It is central to access many beautiful beaches and trail. Very complete kitchen equipment. Perfection

The condo is the perfect place to stay in Princeville. The views are breathtaking, especially the sunsets. The condo has everything you need, including beach chairs, towels, beach toys etc. to make for the perfect beach day. It's walking distance to restaurants and two beautiful beaches - Hideaways Beach and Puu Poa Beach. The hosts are amazing. I highly recommend and plan to return!

North Shore Bliss

This was our second stay at Pu'u Poa. It is a fantastic location with a spectacular view! And Lucy & Doug are wonderful hosts. They responded to our every need/request with kindness and good humor. Paradise in Princeville

We had an absolute fantastic time in Princeville. We have stayed at multiple properties at Puu poa and this is one of the nicest. We had a few minor issues that happened at no fault to the owners and lucy handled them immediately. She was always available to answer a question and always friendly! The property was clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. They provided everything we needed. My entire family highly recommends this property and cannot wait to come back!

Overall we loved our stay here. The location and views are amazing. The house was clean and amenities were good. Plenty of parking spots. Kitchen had the needed appliances, although the Keurig could stand to be replaced. My only caution is that this place doesn’t comfortably accommodate more than 3 or 4 people. Having the couch listed as a “bed” made me think it was a pullout, but it wasn’t. So one of my kids had to sleep on it and it wasn’t super comfortable. But the place is great for a couple and 2 kids. Overall we loved the location and views of the ocean, and it’s super close to Hanalei which was nice. Communication from the hosts was great and prompt.

Why they chose this property

Beautiful view of Bali Hai and the ocean. See outstanding sunsets, and whales playing in the water. From our lanais/verandas you look straight to the ocean and mountains, not overlooking anybody else's lanai/veranda with tables, chairs, umbrellas, cement, etc.
This is one big advantage of all 2nd floor condos, and no other floors, except ground floor condos. But the view and privacy on the ground floor condos is very limited.

What makes this property unique

On the 2nd floor we have the fewest steps, only 7, to get to the property from the parking lot. Also our kitchen is open and feels bigger than many other condos. We have air conditioning in both bedrooms and the living areas, which not all condos have.
