We had an amazing time at this holiday home in Crete. The pool was perfect for cooling off, the interior was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed, and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. A special thanks to Marcin, who was incredibly friendly and gave us fantastic local tips. We’d definitely love to come back!

An amazing spot for the ultimate relaxing holiday. Apartment has everything needed for a relaxing getaway and the pool was an added bonus on the hotter days. The drive up can be a little daunting at first but it is absolutely worth it when you reach the terrace with views over the hills and mountains. The perfect spot to watch the sunrise and sunset. We would definitely come back to this beautiful place again :)

Amazing Views

This villa was the highlight of our trip to Crete. The view of the town below you, the personal pool to cool off in, and just the right amount of space inside (with air-conditioning!) to retreat to after a day of checking out nearby Kalamaki Beach or the quaint local towns. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store a short drive from villa as well. The villa is is a perfect location and is very quiet, we basically had the top of hill to ourselves during our stay. It will be a while before we make it back to Crete, but when we do we will be sure to see if this villa is available.

Die Lage des Apartements ist traumhaft - absolute Ruhelage aber dennoch nicht weit weg vom Ort Kamilari sowie vom Strand Kalamaki. Auch Matala ist nur ein paar Kilometer entfernt. FĂŒr ein Paar oder eine Familie mit Kleinkind ist die GrĂ¶ĂŸe der Unterkunft perfekt - es gibt ein großes Doppelbett und laut Inserat könnte im KĂŒchen-/Wohnbereich auch eine Person schlafen. In der RealitĂ€t wĂŒrden wir das nicht empfehlen, da es sich um eine gemauerte Bank handelt, auf der sich nur SitzIflaugen befinden. Uns wĂ€re das zu unbequem gewesen. Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist top - alles vorhanden, was man braucht und die Einrichtung ist liebevoll gestaltet worden.Nicht ganz so optimal ist die Lage des Badezimmers - es ist im Schlafbereich hinter einer GlastĂŒre ohne LĂŒftung und ohne Fenster. Und vielleicht auch wichtig zu wissen, wenn man mit Kleinkind reist - der Außenbereich ist nicht komplett eingezĂ€unt und es fĂŒhren Stufen zum Parkplatz hinunter, der wiederum direkt am Hang liegt. Mit unserem fast 4-JĂ€hrigen war es kein Problem, aber ich hĂ€tte mich ein wenig wohler gefĂŒhlt, wenn alles eingezĂ€unt gewesen wĂ€re. Alles in allem war es jedoch ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemĂŒht, uns einen schönen Urlaub zu bereiten.

Unterkunft mit atemberaubender Aussicht

Highlight: Pool und Aussicht

Wir waren 10 Tage in der hĂŒbschen Wohnung in Kalimari und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Aussicht ist unvergleichlich, die Wohnung sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet und der Pool und die Klimaanlage machen den Aufenthalt auch bei 36 Grad perfekt. Bei Fragen hatten wir jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner, der uns weitergeholfen hat. Das Örtchen bietet schöne Tavernen (Kelari, Akropolis, Loggia ...) und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Viele Deutsche sind hier zu Gast. Der Pool und der Außenbereich sind perfekt. Durch den Schirm und die teilweise Überdachung gibt es immer irgendwo ein SchattenplĂ€tzchen, um sich auszuruhen, was sehr schön war. Auch die Wohnung ist toll, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht! Einzig das Bett ist sehr hart und wir wurden leider fast jede Nacht im Schlafzimmer extrem von Insektenstichen geplagt. Wir hoffen, dass gegen diese Insekten dauerhaft etwas unternommen werden kann. Ansonsten eine absolute Empfehlung!

Sweetest Mountain Stay

We stayed in October and it was just hot enough to enjoy the pool and lying about in the crisp but warm mountain air. Property is sweet and check in caring. Space feels like a home rather than business, with generous touches of cheese and tomatoes to welcome us. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Bed was a little hard after 4 nights. But all round we LOVED this place.

L'appartement de François et Christine est idéalement situé, a proximité des plages, de Matala, de sites archéologiques, des tavernes et des commerces. Niché en haut d'une colline, la vue y est à couper le souffle. Vous pourrez apprécier le lever et le coucher du soleil, les montagnes au loin ainsi que la plaine dominée par des champs d'oliviers. C'est un endroit qui invite à la contemplation, idéal pour se ressourcer. L'appartement est trÚs bien équipé, trÚs fonctionnel et magnifiquement décoré. La piscine privative est vraiment trÚs appréciable pour se détendre et se rafraßchir. Vous apprécierez sans aucun doute les terrasses privatives, elles aussi, pour prendre un verre ou dßner. François et Christine nous ont chaleureusement accueilli et sont aux petits soins pour que votre séjour soit agréable.
