The condo was very comfortable. King size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host was extremely responsive to any requests we made. The area was beautiful, the neighbors very friendly. We definitely would go back.

Stoneybrook Community

Our Condo in Stoneybrook was great. It was VERY clean upon our arrival. The condo itself was a bit dated but served our vacation perfectly. Great pool, friendly neighbors. Toilets needed repairs due to noise when flushing. Plenty of Beach Towels and a convenient beach buggy. Our favorite beach is Nokomis and it was only about a 12 min. Drive. Publix and CVS only 1/4 mile down the street.

Lovely stay in gated community

The apartment is spacious for two people and is as nice as it looks on the web page. All the appliances work well including the washer and dryer. The pool is practically just outside the door and is always at a comfortable temperature. We didn't bring our pickle ball paddles which was a mistake since the court (and tennis court) is right beside the pool. The Clubhouse is 1/2 mile away and the dining room is available to all and the simple food is good and quite reasonably priced. We didn't join the golf membership but it is possible to play the course by paying public green fees. The location is interesting. It is very close to an entrance to the Legacy Bike Trail which we used frequently. Nokomis beach is 15 minutes away and the cute town of Venice is 20 minutes. On the other hand it is 25 -30 minutes to all the theatre shows and museums in central Sarasota and to St Armand's circle so you may get tired of driving the busy Tamiami Trail if those are your main interests. Check in was easy and Laurie was always available by phone. All in all we were quite happy with our stay.
