The AC was fine. However there was not enough silverware for 12 guest. We also didn't have enough seating in dinning room and living room for 12 people. We moved the 2 chairs in the master bedroom and a rocking chair from another bedroom to the living room so that we could all watch a movie together. Other than these two things the house was great. Some folding chair s would fix the dinning room issue.

I would not stay here again. The sewer smell at the front of the house was horrific. The sewer smell permeated into the basement of the house. You couldn’t sit out on the deck in the evening or in the morning to enjoy coffee or just being outside. The smell did subside during the middle of the day. There were large black ants in the house! The shower curtain upstairs had mold on it. Out in front of the house to the one side it looked as though the cleaning company either dumped a bunch of dryer lint or emptied a vacuum cleaner. I took my dog out for a walk, it was dark out and she was sniffing around the ground and her head came up with a mouthful of whatever that was. So gross. It made her sick!!!There were also piles of leaves around the house that were slippery and holding all of the rain.Overall cleanliness was not great! I do have to give kudos to Taylor made for the promptness coming to check out the issues that we called about. They were great!

The house was very nice and space was good for a family of different ages from 10 to 64 years old. I like the open kitchen and living room and dinning room so when you talk conservation was good. Like that the third level had a full bathroom just a like cold need to have better heating downstairs. Upstairs bedrooms were like and roomy need to have an TV in every room two room did not have a TV. Overall this was a nice house.
The property was a good functional layout. Check in/check out was very easy. The kitchen was well equiped with everything you would need. We did have a small problem with the hot tub the first day, but someone came right away the next morning and fixed it and gave us good local tips for things to do and places to eat, so I'm weirdly grateful it wasn't working. I would have to agree about the master bedroom being too bright, althoug the view is amazing that morning sun and the lack of any kind of blind or curtain made that room not usable in my opinion. During the day its very bright and at night there is a streetlight that shines right it, curtains or blinds would be a very simple fix though.

A nice house on the lake...
I rented this house for my husband's 65th birthday. All three level of the house were completely different tempatures, being unbearably hot upstairs and freezing in the basement. Maintenance came and brought us space heaters, which were OK in the downstairs bedroom but it was still too cold to use the pool table room. The upstairs stayed too hot because the AC was only on the main floor. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the house has been updated somewhat recently. The hot tub was dated but worked... Unfortunately the cover needs replaced and dropped pieces of vinyl and Styrofoam everywhere so it was impossible to use. The grounds had trash scattered around but had a beautiful view of the lake. We had plans to fish but the dock wasn't in the water yet. It was nice to get away and spend time with family. We had a really nice time and enjoyed the house overall, but it could use a little more attention.
The home is very rustic. The rooms are spacious. The location is convenient to everything. Good value for a family. We rented the last week of July and we experienced quite a few things that were not functioning. The screen door fell off several times. The grinder was leaking and took a half day to repair. The hot tub lift was broken and we were only able to use 1/2 of it. Porch chair was broken. Taylor Made responded to all of our requests for repairs.
The house is a bit on the older side, but it is clean (some dust) and has all of the things you'd need for a stay at the lake for a large family - LOTS of room in the living room and a large dining room. The kitchen is very well-stocked for cooking and baking and it has a large dining room table. It also has two full-size refrigerators. Word of warning: The "master" bedroom has a massive set of windows that are east facing (towards the front yard/lake/road) and has no window coverings. It was VERY bright - there is no sleeping-in when you are in that room. Second word of warning: There was a very bright (*ahem* annoying) security light in the front yard that constantly hums and shines in the front bedroom windows all night long.
A bit of info that I'd wished I'd had before we arrived: it has both a regular coffee pot with a wire mesh filter and a Keurig. We could get at most 8T of ground coffee in the wire mesh basket before the grounds would overflow.
