The Space:

Vista Ocotal #17 is a brand new home located just 1 block (150 meters) from the BEACH in the upscale area of Playa Ocotal. This home is all about location—it is only a two-minute walk to the beach, to massage tables, to fishing/kayaking/paddle-boarding, and to the very popular beachfront restaurant “Father Rooster’s.” There is plenty of room for friends and family in this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home.



This villa has stainless steel appliances and comes fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you need to make your stay more pleasant. There is a breakfast bar and also a dining table.



The Vista Ocotal development is a growing development that has a beautiful large pool, gathering area, and gardens.



This home is only a 10-minute drive to Playas del Coco (taxis are available) where you can also you can find a variety of nightlife, restaurants, bars, casinos, shops, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.



This villa includes one designated parking space and one additional visitor parking spot.

Fantastic home close to the beach. The house was clean and just as described. We used the community pool which was nice and enjoyed talking with all the neighbors. When we come back we will def stay again.

Quiet and well positioned property near beach and good restaurant. Great pool on site as well as the club pool near by. Condo. suggestions: at least 2 chairs and one table for each patio and balcony ; additional camping chairs for the beach; food containers.

Great condo

We had 8 people staying here in this condo. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our 9 days stay. The showers are amazing but if someone was showering in the main floor, the showers upstairs just had a trickle. The air conditioning was perfect and cold. We came in July and having the cool condo was so refreshing. David responded quickly to any questions we had. The gym/2nd larger pool, located at Coco Estates, is about a 5 minute drive from the condo. The gym there is very small and all the equipment is ancient (in case the gym is your kind of thing). The pool at the Coco Estates is also available with poolside drinks and food for purchase. The beds were comfortable in the 2 upstairs bedrooms. There is plenty of storage space in each bedroom. The family room area is very small. The condo complex is small and has a small pool at that location. The property is gated for your security. The beach is a couple minute walk down the road. The beach is gorgeous with black sand. There are lots of trees for shade. Enjoyed our stay here.

It would have been nice to know who I needed to communicate what with regarding check-in, property, housekeeping. Figured out there were two different people to communicate with so things got confusing. Upon arrival, there was no toilet paper. It showed up in a reasonable amount of time so thank you for that.It took us a bit to find laundry detergent, but that just took some effort. A suggestion would be to have the email from Krain portal accessible to all of us at the condo. I was the only one with that communication tool and I was with three other couples. It became a bit cumbersome for me to be the person always communicating. also, there was no information in the condo regarding what needed to be done with garbage, towels, bedding. Didn’t know if we were supposed to leave all of the garbage and recycling in the condo or if you wanted us to walk it out. We did enjoy our stay in Costa Rica. Very friendly people!

The housing complex is nice and well maintained and features a decent size pool. An additional benefit was the monkey viewing in the large trees outside our house.
