From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by our host, Roger and Pamula, whose kindness and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Alice and Wonderland theme was simply perfect and beautifully done.In the morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast in the cutest Mad Hatter tearoom. Our meal was both delicious and beautifully presented. The host's culinary skills were evident, and it was clear that they took great care in preparing meals that catered to our preferences and dietary needs. I highly recommend the crab cakes and the homemade biscuits and jam. What truly set this experience apart was the host's genuine warmth and hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, offering thoughtful touches and personalized recommendations that enhanced our visit. If you're seeking a unique retreat in a beautiful area, with a host who treats you like family, look no further. We left with full hearts and a promise to return.
Our stay in the Royal Suite did not disappoint. Roger greeted us on arrival and showed great hospitality. The room and cafe are sweetly decorated, and the breakfast each morning in the cafe was a nice plus. The room was comfortable and we loved the hot tub on the deck. The inn is in a nice location. Highly recommend!
My husband and I came for a weekend getaway, but when we saw how beautiful it was decorated, we went and picked up our 6 year old Grandaughter. She spend the night. I have never seen her so giggly with pure excitement. At breakfast the host Roger, set her up with her own trays of goodies. She had her own tea pot. If you have girls, I highly recommend a stay here or just schedule a tea party. You won’t be disappointed.
We were told this was perfect for a romantic getaway with a private suite and a private porch with a hot tub. It was our first Valentines Day together so it sounded perfect. When we got there, we realized it a house with a restaurant in it. There was no check in process. A girl went and got Roger. He told us to pull around back. There wasnt any scenery. It was just a yard with a shed that was overflowing with stuff. The patio furniture was old and faded The room reminded me of my grandmothers but not in a comforting way. It was overall very weird. Our private room was surrounded by the dishwasher running and people laughing and eating dinner and breakfast.Im assuming we had the kitchen on one side and the dining room on the other. We had two doors in our room. One went into the dining area and one went outside. People inside the restaurant could see us getting in the hot tub. The hot tub water was so cool that we were shivering. They temp said 104 but it was cold. Patrons for the restaurant were parked all aound where our private porch was. There was no door on the closet or bathroom. We decided to leave after 1 night. It definitely wasnt what we expected or what we read it to be
The first thing we were told was hot tub broken. Told it would be fixed next, it wasn’t. When let in room it was a shock to the system of amount of stuff on the shelves and how dusty the faded flower arrangements were. The room was very cold and light bulbs missing from light fixtures. Then open curtain to closet and everything but the kitchen sink was piled in there. No door on the bathroom and again red bath towels? The rugs looked like they had never been cleaned. One chair for two people? And it was filthy. Way too much red. Looked like a murder scene. Must never have heard the saying “less is more”? Shocked to open door to restaurant and find a table fore 12 right in front of me. First night party in there and no sleep till 10pm. Wasn’t told our room was sharing a wall with the kitchen. First breakfast was just OK. Dinner was awful. Ordered steak and ribs. Both so tough you couldn’t chew. Asked for more butter for my potato and server said “isn’t that enough”! I was flabbergasted. No more butter for me. Salt shaker was filthy. Observed servers carrying trays, opened door with shoes!! When table for 12 was occupied made it very difficult to enter our room. Since there was only two room to said Inn, was shocked manager didn’t check on us once. Our suggestion is run a restaurant and get out of hotel business. Would not recommend my worst enemy to stay in that room. Smelled musty, no amenities, no closet. Not a very restful, or pleasnt room.

Comfortable bed and quiet room - perfect for our getaway!
Only complaint was lack of mirror over the bathroom sink.

Such a wonderful place to stay. Roger and his family are so great. They make you feel so welcome and treat you as family. The rooms were perfect for our family get away. The private hot tub was a fabulous added bonus enjoyed with a mimosa on the deck. We will definitely return for another wonderful get away.
Oh and did I mention the cafe’ is AMAZING!! Breakfast & brunch was fabulous.
Can’t wait to go back. Thank you Roger and Pamela
