A Few Mountain Notes Wildlife is part of the charm—bear sightings are not uncommon, so please keep vehicles locked and free of food or trash. Chateau de Fleurs sits atop a steep mountain road. During late fall, winter, and early spring, four-wheel drive or tire chains are strongly recommended. Roads are maintained but can be steep and winding. This is my second time in this cabin, it’s perfect for a family of 11-12, even more. The location is unbeatable with perfect overview of the mountains and plenty of bear sightings.

Great views and layout!
House was perfect for multiple families and kids. I recommend this house!
The drive up the mountains was exciting, seeing the view for the first time was breath taking, the childrens really enjoyed the game room, the bedrooms were spacious, it felt like home.
Really enjoyed our stay there, definitely will recommend 💯
We loved this home! This home provided a perfect view of the smokies with active wildlife and an elegant interior! Victoria was very helpful throughout the process and made our stay seamless!
The location is great! A beautiful view overlooking Gatlinburg and a stunning background of the Smokies. Every morning we enjoy watching a picturesque sunrise with coffee in the rocking chairs. We saw several curious bears around the property. The proximity to the park was great too, having limited commute time to go knock out some hikes. In our down time, this kids enjoyed visiting the pool within the complex. I highly recommend!
Our family came to Gatlinburg to celebrate our mom/grandma’s 70th birthday. All her children and grandchildren were present and this was the first time we all have taken a family vacation together. We had an incredible time and saw a few bears, ate great food, played games, attended the parade downtown, went swimming & shopped and did some hiking/walks.
Great house and amenities overlooking downtown Gatlinburg from the west. House was very clean and spacious. Host was very helpful/responsive and provided helpful information about the area prior to arrival.

Picture perfect view!
My family and I had a wonderful time! The view was breathtaking and the house was clean and cozy. Not too far from surrounding entertainment, as Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg are pretty close. The host was super helpful and always available when needed! We would definitely recommend this property!
The deck views on this property were amazing. There were daily bears sightings which my children thoroughly enjoyed. The house was clean and easy to navigate for all twelve of us. We used the hot tub nightly and enjoyed the community pools each day.
Amazing home with perfect views of Gatlinburg. Everything was ideal for a large family trip to the mountains. This was the first kitchen we've encountered with more than sufficient supplies (we never ate out).

Kevin, Thank you for such a glowing review. We travel down as a large family and know how important it is to have a fully stocked kitchen. I'm so happy to hear we exceeded your expectations. Thank you again.

Oh Gatlinburg!
Thank you Chateau de Fleurs for providing us with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. We played hours of cards and enjoyed the pool table! The beds were all comfortable and all the appliances worked properly! When you stay here, definitely read the house book to learn the history on the house (I won’t spoil it).
This location was amazing for our family! Gorgeous views and cozy feels. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Five stars all across, except for the location due to the climb being a little steep for a standard car if trying to park near the garage area. Our 4 wheel drives did just fine though.

Awesome family vacation spot!
This place was fantastic! My family and I wanted to visit Gatlinbrug/Great Smoky Mountains and we were able to find the best house! With an amazing view, all the amenities, hot tub, cleanliness and even some awesome views of wildlife in the safety of the Chalet- this was a 5 star place no doubt! The host was fantastic with communication and no issues came up during our stay. Truly, the best thing was the location. It was about 10-20 minutes away from Gatlinburg, Great Snoky Mountains, and Pigeon Forge. I would highly recommend!
Made accommodations for three brothers and family. This property has plenty of room to enjoy privacy and family time. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need definitely bring your groceries with you to prevent trips exta trips town. This property also has access to multiple pools and is very close to ober attractions. Definitely lock your vehicle had daily visits from bears
Very nice! Kitchen very well equiped! Having all the bathrooms was great! I didn't realize how busy Gatlinburg was. Saw bears I believe 4 times right on the property. Views from the cabin take your breathe away.
Sorry that your stay was not up to your satisfaction. We have updated our chalet in 2022 and are moving forward with additional renovations that will be occurring throughout 2023.
As for child friendly not sure what your particular issue was during your stay that would make you think this. We do advise guests with small infants/toddlers in our welcome package to bring or rent baby gates for the spiral staircase. Our staircase is evident in our photos.

Absolutely wonderful visit to Gatlinburg!
My family of four generations stayed at this lovely home and had a wonderful time! The location is so perfect for visiting the area and the views from the deck/balcony are stunning! We enjoyed plenty of space and loved the large dining table for some of our meals all together. The kitchen had plenty of pans, cooking accessories, etc for all of our food prep and we only ate out once. The close proximity to the Smokies was great and even though we missed the peak color of the foliage, it was still beautiful. We saw bears every day which was so exciting! A mama bear even climbed to the top of a very nearby tree. :) Our family was not really interested in what Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge has to offer but we had lots of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and then lay low back at the chalet. It was a special time with many memories made!
We had a group of friends gather for a weekend in the mountains and we really enjoyed our stay. The home is lovely and comfortable for a larger group, with each of us having our own bef. The patio views overlooking Gatlinburg and the surrounding mountains were stunning. The home is outside of the city enough for a cozy remote cabin feeling, but still a quick and easy drive into the city for dining and entertainment. Our host Victoria stayed in contact with us from the booking process all the way through the end of our stay, and was very helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Gatlinburg or the surrounding area.

Fantastic Home
We spent a great week in Gatlinburg. Our chalet was perfect for our multi generation group with plenty of room for all of us and plenty of things to do.
The house is equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable week. We had a beautiful view from our decks and from the hot tub.
The grandkids enjoyed the community pools which were just minutes away.
Our location was great. We felt separated from all the crowds yet within a few minutes drive of Gatlinburg and the National Park. We were 5 minutes drive from Ober Gatlinburg and the tram.
We highly recommend this home.

About the host
Hosted by Victoria Hahn
Our family has owned this property since 1990. We previously were listed for rental with Chalet Village, Inc for almost 30 years. When Chalet Village, Inc was sold to an outside company we decided to manage our property ourselves.
Why they chose this property
After spending over a decade visiting Gatlinburg with our family, we fell in love with the beauty, peace, and timeless charm of the Smokies. In 1990, we decided to make this special place a permanent part of our lives by purchasing Chateau de Fleurs—a mountain home where memories could be made and shared.
From the moment we stepped into the chalet, we knew it was more than just a house—it was a retreat. A place to slow down, reconnect, and take in the breathtaking views that never get old. Over the years, we've poured our hearts into maintaining and enhancing the space, and we take great pride in sharing it with guests from near and far.
Whether you're here for adventure, celebration, or quiet reflection, we hope Chateau de Fleurs offers the same sense of peace and belonging that it has given our family for generations. It’s our joy to welcome you with true Smoky Mountain hospitality.
What makes this property unique
One of the largest and original A-frames in Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg.
