About this property

Completely renovated chalet with views of Lake Dunmore and the Green Mountains. Brand new kitchen, bathrooms, hardwood floors, new appliances, and more. Big sunny deck with lake views and shared access just across the road with 2 two-person kayaks that come with the rental. Hike hundreds of miles of trails just across the lake in the Moosamaloo National. Recreation Area, ski at the Middlebury Snow Bowl and Rikert Nordic Center just 15 minutes away or at Pico and Killington, a 40-minute drive. Or cross country ski out your front door when the lake is frozen.

PLEASE NOTE: we do most of our bookings, and all long-range ones, on another site that starts with A and ends with B and prices are usually much better there. Also, please note that we only take bookings 6 months ahead of time so if you see your dates blocked reach out about next spring or summer. Thank you!

Great spot

We had a great long weekend at the cottage on lake dunmore. The home was recently remodeled, comfortable and clean as can be. We enjoyed the lake views at the breakfast table, lake side walks, spring skiing, cool restaurants, and exploring an overall great area!

Perfect Lake Dunmore Holiday!

Beautifully redone home with all the amenities. Lisa and Angelo have turned this Lake Dunmore home into a cozy, modern, perfect bit of relaxation. We had no problem cooking full meals at home with such a well-appointed kitchen. Wonderful hiking with the Falls of Lana and access to the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area just across the lake. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway - look no further. Lisa and Angelo are wonderful people with an enthusiasm for Vermont. They did an excellent job providing a unique insight into the local area and providing tailored suggestions to meet our interests. We can't wait until our next visit!

We have been hosting since 2010 and have another property in Stowe as well. We live right down the road, know the area very well. We are active outdoors folks, foodies and and love to offer recommendations.

Why they chose this property

Clean, fresh, quiet and stunning! This house is a gem on Lake Dunmore. It also has a wood stove. Lake access is just across a quiet dirt road (about 50 yards from the house) and has a shallow area great for kids. The house comes with fishing rods and two 2-person kayaks. There's also a swim raft anchored just offshore.

What makes this property unique

Views of the lake, a big bright deck, skylights and tons of natural light. This is a bright, fresh property that was completely remopdeled in 2020. It has a. aood stove, all new appliances, custom stone and tile work, locally milled maple hardwood floors. reclaimed barnboard vanities, pebble-floor shower, 50-inch Roku TV, all the kitchen essentials, fire pit, two 2-person kayaks, shared dock and lake access across the road. Pull-out couch converts to queen bed. Custom dining table seats 8 with additional tables and seating for another 8.
