Our direct ocean front condo is a delight ! ! ! Prove it to yourselves by viewing our video tour. In our 8th floor 1 bedroom condo you'll feel right at home, unlike in a hotel room. You will enjoy perfect beach and ocean views from north to south. We are within walking distance to civic center, restaurants, movies, main street, main street fishing pier, band shell, shopping, water park, boardwalk amusement park, and sun splash city park, as well as the new lifeguard complex is right next door.

We feature one of the largest pools on the ocean plus a huge hot tub affords you a perfect view of everything from the beach goers to the surf. You will be delighted ! ! ! Daytona beach offers a multitude of activities. Fly through the sky in a para sail or just watch others from your balcony. Enjoy Friday and Saturday night free concerts at the historic Bandshell during the warmer months. Also, enjoy Saturday night fireworks from your balcony during the summer months and of course New Years.

Orlando theme parks are only about an hour away. Kennedy space center and Saint Augustine are close by. For race fans, Daytona international speedway is only five miles from our condominium. Perfect location for bikers as well.

Enjoy your morning breakfast with coffee on the balcony. Walk the beach and take a stroll to the shops or pier. Relax by the pool and soak in the hot tub. Also enjoy a night swim or soak in the lighted Jacuzzi and pool. You’ll enjoy listening to the waves from your oceanfront balcony. You’ll love everything in Daytona ! ! !

Host was welcoming but the room had some problems the bathtub has water under so it squishes every time u step in it also the bathtub drain is clogged and also they have a rocking chair that is covered in mold but the view from the room was great

I am very confused by your review since when I checked in to make sure you were happy with the place you responded "yes". We were especially confused after inspecting the condo after you left and found that the bathtub drained fine and there was no mold on the chair. We would have been more than happy to have tried to work with you if you had contacted us upon arrival. We always try to meet our renters needs by providing good communication and by having a nice, clean condo upon renters' arrival. I think the majority of our reviews show that.

The hotel is older, but nice. The room was wonderful especially for the price! A great view with beach accessories! The kids loved the pool and beach! Great location! The host was very helpful! Would definitely stay again!

Great place!

We’ve vacationed at this property several years in a row and this property was the best kept. Everything was bright and as described. The location can’t be beat just a few blocks from the boardwalk and shoppes. The property is very secure and staff is always around cleaning and making sure everything stays welcoming. Everything you need for the beach is in the room. We plan on booking again!

We loved our stay at the condo! The condo is cute, convenient and has everything we needed and more! The communication with the owners was superb! She made sure we got in and had everything we needed, and answered questions quickly. Her parents are on site and came by to help with a TV question. The view was great and right on the beach,. When arriving the condo was not clean. Dust and yellow tinted sheets on bed. We contacted the owner and informed her. She explained renovation at the site in progress. This condo was supposed to be cleaned before arrival, it definitely was not. I never complain about stuff, but this was unacceptable. We left after a lady came up not sure if it was the owners mother. She said she personally cleaned the condo. It had not been cleaned. Long story short, she said she would change the sheets in the bed, if that wasn’t enough she had someone else she could rent it to. We left, after several exchanges with the owner, I was given a refund. The pictures on VRBO were nice, but not the same in person.

Since I bought my condo it has stayed booked the majority of the time. Fortunately, I don’t have to use VRBO too often since my renters are usually repeaters that rent from me directly. The reason people return is because I have a great view from a clean condo and I am attentive to guests. This is evident from the many 5-star ratings. Every so often, I get people who want to come stay at the condo, make up stories, and then do a charge back to get a free vacation as is the case in this situation. You arrived to a cleaned condo and within ten minutes of arriving you messaged me to complain that the place hadn’t been cleaned even though it had. I asked my mother to go see what was wrong. Upon arrival, she saw multiple empty wine bottles and said you seemed inebriated so you didn’t think it was so bad that you had to leave. When my mother asked you to point out what you thought was dirty you showed her water spots on the coffee pot and you said the freshly changed sheets were dirty. To appease you she put another set of brand new sheets on the bed to make you happy but you still weren’t happy. I run a business where I try to provide an accommodation and services that make people happy so they will want to return. If someone isn’t happy I try to make it right. In this case there was nothing I could do because you were running a scam and now since you didn’t get to stay for free you gave me a bad review. Fortunately, it is easy to see the truth in all of our 5 star ratings .

Perfect Place on the Beach!

From my Father: This was the perfect place for the wife and I this past week. The size of the unit is perfect for 2 people but I can see where it could accommodate 4 rather easily. It was furnished very well and the view was amazing. Plenty of parking to be found on site and entire building was very clean and well maintained. We are already looking at a return trip next year and will definitely be checking on availability of this unit. Checking in with us a couple times during the week to see if there was anything we need at the unit was a nice touch that showed you cared that everything was going good for us. Truly loved our stay. Dirty and not as we expected.

We got in after a 12 hr drive at 3am. Self check in fine. Owner was good communicator. I expected a dated apartment, but the room was not clean. The toaster had grime, the stove had crumbs and grease on it. There was open food in the ref. The floor was dirty. There were long black bugs on the wall. I think they are seasonal on the outside but they were inside. When we opened the balcony, it was unpleasant and they were everywhere. We got out new sheets but when opened the couch bed there were crumbs in it . We called VBRO and sent pics and tried to call manager. but no answer. We left after being on phone a hour or so. We could not sleep. there. WE booked a hotel and watched the sunrise and had breakfast on the beach until we could check in at hotel after 24 hours plus driving and being awake. The owner gave us a refund. He needs a new manager.

Upon arrival you were welcomed by Florida's annual "meet and greet" staff, the mating "love bugs". They are completely harmless but you just can't leave the balcony door open unless you want them to come on in and join the party too! Why wouldn't they want to come into our newly renovated condo that was just completely cleaned and spotless as always? I'm fortunate to have parents who are also HBR owners to inspect our condo after each cleaning so we know it is perfect prior to every one of our guests' arrivals including yours. This check and balance system is obvious in all the rave reviews we receive from our renters who appreciate the cleanliness, newness of the condo's contents, and our fantastic customer service.

Very disappointed.

This is an honest review. Condo was dirty and I don't mean not cleaned by cleaning person. Black mold refrigerator gasket. Microwave oven door completely covered in greasy fingerprints. Stove knobs grossly dirty with grime and grease. Pans not usable due to teflon totally flaking off. Linen placements used under lamps, dirty . Most likely not washed in long time.Bath mat was filthy. Closet not usable because its chuck full of junk. Seems like previous guest leave stuff behind so place is cluttered with unusable items. Balcony chairs covered with old nasty bird droppings. Beach chairs complete rust. Not usable. Glad we brought our own. Place has potential to be a nice place. Needs a good top to bottom cleaning and dejunking. Contacted the owner and sent pictures. She refunded my cleaning fee,so I appreciate that.

I’m quite baffled by this review since the reviews before and after your visit describe a totally different condo. I looked at your pictures and with the exception of the unpreventable bird poop, couldn’t understand what you were talking about. I refunded your cleaning fee to appease you even though your perceptions of dirty are definitely different than ours. I will admit that we do have items in the closet to accommodate guests since many guests appreciate these items being available. I apologize for providing these “unusable” items, such as extra pillows, blankets, a vacuum cleaner, kids beach toys, extra chairs, extra linens and a fan. Fortunately, these items don’t prevent one from hanging clothing unless you’ve brought your entire winter/summer wardrobe and luggage for a trip around the world. It is apparent from a very long list of fantastic reviews that we’ve done a pretty great job of making almost all of our renters happy. Unfortunately, we’ve learned in this business that you can’t make everyone happy (and especially not the “Karens”). :)

Host communication is great. Host was very helpful and informative. The unit when we first arrived wasn’t clean, the host refunded the cleaning fee immediately and we made a trip to Walmart got cleaning supplies and went to work. Not the idea first day of our vacation but the host was so accommodating and apologetic that it was a small hiccup. Tv in the bedroom didn’t work the entire stay but we didn’t come to the beach to watch tv, which was a good thing, small inconvenience. The location was great On the beach and surrounded by shops. Elevators are old and cranky was down to one that made the wait a lot longer. Last day there the elevators were both working and the time to get up and down was greatly improved. Older unit but for the price I would say l worth it. Had a little trouble with using the key to get to the beach but it seemed others did as well which leads me to think the moisture from the ocean has affected the locks. Like I said a little out dated along with the closet and under the kitchen sink is a storage area for everything it seems. As a whole I think a good deep clean and perhaps some updates as far as appliances and furniture would be helpful. The lady who came to check the tv who was not the owner nor host could seriously use some people skills. Her husband who came with her the second time was very friendly and helpful she was offended that I had notified the host that the unit wasn’t clean upon our arrival.

Awesome Anniversary Getaway!

Our stay was great and in a great location for anything you would want to do. It was well stocked with everything that is needed. We spent our days at the Turkey Rod Run at the speedway which was only a few miles away which worked out great for us. We would stay again!
