Welcome to the wonderful of world Alpacas! We have a gorgeous 53 acre Alpaca ranch in Silt, CO. To create our bed and breakfast, we repurposed this old concrete building. We gutted it, raised the walls up a couple of feet, poured a new concrete floor, filled the old west side entryway with concrete and cut a new doorway in the west side, facing the alpacas. You will love sitting on the porch watching them play as the sun sets. Or having your morning coffee with them. We invite you to come enjoy a bit of serene farm life! A perfect place to stay whether you are touring Glenwood or going skiing. A great getaway for the weekend. Come enjoy a bit of farm life, peaceful settings, and alpacas of course!

We enjoyed our stay. It was fun to watch and feed the alpaca. The unit was also done nicely and super comfortable. We were able to cook some meals there and relax in between our explorations. We would stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay visiting the alpacas! It is a great little place and exactly what we had hoped for. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It was very private and quiet. The alpacas were AMAZING and SO sweet!! Highly recommend this place to stay while driving through - was very clean and comfortable with everything you need.
This sweet cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very well done inside. But even as good as the cabin is, it's the sweet faces of the alpacas that greet you every morning that make this stay so special. The owner provides feed so you can, interact with them. Highly recommend, it would stay there again in a minute.
We had an amazing one night stay over with the alpacas in this beautiful tiny house. It was SO much better than we anticipated and felt like a luxury hotel room and not a tiny house in the middle of an alpaca farm! The bed was super cozy. The entire place was gorgeous and cozy and spotlessly clean! The alpacas were the cutest and I loved being able to feed them and pet them. Would stay again!
This was such a wonderful stop for us! Our only regret is that we were only in the area for one night! Such cozy and clean accommodations in a beautiful and unique setting. Our girls (4 and 2) loved the alpacas and getting to feed them!
Really enjoyed the farm and the Alpacas but the cottage is gorgeous and so homey. We had a long day and it was so comfortable that we just relaxed all evening. Got to feed the alpacas and got great photos.
Stayed at the Alpaca farm for two night with my girlfriend, just wanted a little trip to get away. Place was very clean, had everything you would want and need. Short drive into Glenwood to visit the springs if that’s on your list. Alpacas were great to hang out with and feed, while drinking some coffee. Beautiful mountain range in the distance. Definitely would recommend this place!

Pictures on the vrbo site don’t do the little cottage justice! It’s a sweet place, owners are very nice and the alpacas are just delightful. My kids will not forget the experience.
We loved our stay at this cute Alpaca farm. The property is very cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed the gift of farm fresh eggs.
We visited with the Alpacas in the morning and Kim even came out and gave us some food so we could feed them. It was perfect for our short stay as we traveled across the Mountains and Western Slope of Colorado. Great hosts, cute guest house with a very comfy bed. Highly recommend!

It was a very nice place that is very well kept! It's private and quiet. The kitchen had all the items you would need to save some money and cook from "home". PLUS, you walk outside and there are Alpaca's EVERYWHERE! They have hay all around so you can feed them. They were sooo cute, friendly and sweet. The kids LOVED it.
We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.
This place was awesome. All you needed at your fingertips. Beautiful views. Curious, but quiet animals.
Country setting done in elegance. I think that the house felt like it was an old barn at one time but restored in such an elegance way that left me wondering if it was the decorative touch that made it feel that way. The big cross beams were majestic. The high ceilings gave an open feel. It really sucks you in to just relax. Great job we will be back
We had the most amazing time during our stay. We wanted a place that was calm, quiet, great views to unplug for a few days and this was exactly it. The tiny home was perfect. Clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Right when you walk outside the views were just beautiful with a mountain range and of course the alpacas. It was just peaceful.
On top of it it’s very central to many popular hikes - Hanging lake, rifle falls, etc.
Last morning here we finally got a chance to go to the boutique and it’s the cutest! We got yarn and some souvenirs.
We will definitely be back and recommending this place to friends and family!! Thank you!
We stayed on property and enjoyed the alpacas and views. The Accommodations were exactly as described online. Perfect size for 2. One night was great for us, but would be fun for multiple if you are site seeing Glenwood Springs. (We live in CO) About a 15- 20 min easy drive! The owners were on property working hard around the farm. We used 6 of the small bags of food (3 day we got there and 3 the morning before we left) Food is $5 per bag and worth it. The Alpacs only nibble a small amount at a time.
This is a farm setting so there is gravel/dirt to walk in so bring the right shoes ladies 🤣 This was a wonderful experience. Memories made!
I stayed for a couple of nights, the place was clean and had everything I needed. I loved the alpacas. They are so cute and curious. The town of Silt is a short drive away. Overall I enjoyed my stay.
This was a great place to stay near Silt, CO! Loved the tiny house! The decor was spot on and there are plenty of cute touches. And, well, of course all of the cute alpacas outside your door!

My family and I loved our stay here! The kids were super excited about seeing (and petting) the Alpacas, and learned about them as well! The kids have some vacation storied to tell from here, for sure. The accommodations were perfect for our family.

Wonderful caring people! The property is beautifully maintained and they love their alpacas so much. Wonderful stay.
We had such a great experience. Our kids have not stopped talking about their experience with the Alpacas since we left. The property itself is beautiful, such a nice studio apartment. Kim and Cory are such amazing people and hosts. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and are already looking for a time to come back.
We really enjoyed our visit. We loved the little house, the alpacas, the scenery, the store, and the hostess.

About the host
Hosted by Kim & Cory Wesson
Cory & I purchased the 53 in 2017 to have more room to grow our Sopris Alpaca herd. We spent the first year bringing this 1896 historic property back to its natural beauty. After finishing our beautiful cabin, we renovated the rustic building behind the cabin that is now our Alpaca Boutique. And finally, we have finished our last building. A shabby chic farm studio we are now using as an Airbnb and VRBO. We also have 2 more Airbnb's on the property. "Alpaca My Bags" and "Alpaca Paradise." We are open daily from 10-4 so that others can come back and enjoy a bit of farm life and have an Alpaca experience. We look forward to sharing our beautiful, serene property with you. Come stay with us and fall in love with the wonderful world of Alpacas!!
Why they chose this property
If you love Alpacas, you will LOVE staying on our farm. The alpacas are right out your front door. You can enjoy them with your morning coffee, or just sit in the evening and watch them pronking in the field.
What makes this property unique
Not only are the alpacas fun to spend the night with, but our property just has a serene feeling to it. Even though we are right off of I-70, you will feel like you are completely away from it all. All of our buildings, built in 1896, have been brought back to their natural beauty. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place for you!
