The place is in a great spot in Sea colony, which we love. The home is a great size for a family of 4 with two smaller kids. Ours are 5 and 6 and the second bedroom was great for them. However, it isn't as clean as we had expected. The bathrooms are dated and not as comfortable as we would have liked.

We love Sea Colony

This is a great property for families. Neighborhood pools and playgrounds in addition to the beach made this the perfect place for our family. We loved the convenience of the tram to the beach. Our deck overlooking the lake was tranquil and a great place for the grandkids to do art projects on a rainy afternoon.

The perfect, relaxing vacation spot for families!

We really loved this vacation! The condo is in a great, very relaxing location! We rent bikes and ride them everywhere, so we like being set back from the beach a bit (no matter where you are in Sea Colony, you aren't too far from the beach! And, if you don't bike, the tram makes getting there super easy). And having a pond view - with fishing! - right from the balcony was extremely calming. The fact that the Sea Colony campus has so many pools and activities right on sight make it a great choice for families. We had a beautifuI vacation and will be coming back in the future! I would highly recommend!

A Relaxing Place to Stay Near the Beach

The trip went relatively smoothly and we received prompt help where we needed it. The condo has a porch that look out over a lake that is serene and peaceful with plenty of visiting geese on the daily. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of utensils, dishes, etc. There was a working laundry machine and dryer. The Bathrooms had showers with decent pressure. The toilets and sinks worked great. While we were not by the beach, we had easy access to the beach with our parking pass that gave us access to Vacasa's private beach! Gorgeous! Also, there were lots of activities available to us at the resort, such as nearby swimming pools! The property was well maintained for its size.

Beach weekend

This property is nice. There was plenty of space for out family of 4. We enjoyed relaxing at the beginning and end of the day. We mixed it up and walked or took the tram to the beach. The walk was about 20 minutes, which was alright with teens. We struggled to time the tram but it was not too long of a wait. I think bikes would have been nice to have. The kids loved the beach which was beautiful and relaxing. We rented umbrella and chairs from Sea Colony - they are nice and helpful. Pools were clean and refreshing. My kids prefer to hang at the ocean, so we did not do the activities Sea Colony offers. Sandy Pony donuts were delicious. The boardwalk is a fun stoll. All in all, it was nice and relaxing.

Very Unsatisfactory Experience

1. I loved being on vacation with my family, away from work and life for the week. 2. Specifically, the things I can appreciate were that Sea Colony has a nice area for families and children, pool amenities, play ground, free parking. However, I was not satisfied with Vacasa for several reasons. -Inconsistent directions for check in -Uncleanliness in our apartment. I literally had to scrub floors, tables, bathrooms and walls for my children to have a clean place to stay. -No notification on what was needed i.e. trash bags, etc. -Our apartment was equipped with Blink allowing complete strangers to have access/video tape my children. Personally, I do not care but given children were involved, it’s a total invasion to our privacy and protection. I instantly felt unsafe unpin arriving. -The beds (all of them) were insanely uncomfortable, my dog’s mattress for his dog bed is more comfortable at home. I EVEN bought foam toppers which did zero justice. -Our washer leaked causing us to have to use all of our towels every time we washed them. -The apartment was not well kept, needs painted, and minor repairs/TLC. It was nothing short of distressed and uncared for. Given the cost, we stayed 5 nights and paid 2 grand. We could have got a hotel for cheaper. This entire experience to me, is totally unacceptable due to what we paid. We drove 6 hours to not have clear directions about check in. We had to sit outside with our children and call an agent to help us, who didn’t know how to initially help us. I would never book through Vacasa or this apartment again. There are too many options nowadays, we will gladly take our money elsewhere next time.

Wonderful Getaway

We took a 3 night stay to visit the beach and play some golf. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Most of the house had been updated- the two bathrooms were a bit outdated but very clean. The layout was nice with the deck and lake viewable from the kitchen, eating area and living area. Location is great. Would stay again.

DONT RENT ANY PROPERTY FROM VRBO, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE

Filthy. Broken washer. Told to go to laundromat which turned out to have moldy washers. staff nice but of course VRBO is apparently not checking the quality of the places it rents -- even when exorbitant -- and then putting people in gross surroundings with broken appliances and telling them nothing to be done. we should have immediately all have been moved to a clean working property. we will never rent from VRBO/Sea Colony again. We have stayed at Sea Colony for 35 years. This is the end of the line for us. To allow this owner to rent was the original sin

Great location!

Great location! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the pond. We rented bikes and were able to ride all over the resort. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the house. The basics were clean but there were cobwebs hanging from the ceilings in many spots. Overall a great place to stay!
