Less than 500 foot walk to the 1st trail and ski right down to the lift or just hike the mountain, winter or summer this condo has all the comforts of home. This updated, clean 3 bedroom 2 brand new bath condo with open floor plan has a Full kitchen with all of your cooking needs. Perfect for families. This unit sleeps 8 comfortably. Maximum of 6 adults. 2 of the bedrooms having queen size beds, the 3rd bedroom having 2 twin bunk beds and also a loft with a full size futon and foosball table for some entertainment. The Wood burning fireplace keeps you toasty warm in the winter, while the wrap around deck with Weber grill is perfect for barbecuing, outdoor dining or just soaking up the sun. Private sauna is great after a hike, coming in from the slopes or just getting the day started off right. 3 smart TVs and high speed WiFi for those lazy days.
Snowmobiles, skiing, snow tubes, zip-lining, hiking, kayaking, 4 wheeling, festivals, Dolans lake and a Short drive to North south lake, kaaterskill falls and Tannersville are just some of the things to keep you entertained.

Great time two years in a row

We’ve stayed here over Christmas two years in a row. Amazingly convenient access to the mountain, the kids (17m, 13m, 9f) love the amenities, and the sauna made apres-ski delightful. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful family ski outing at Hunter - and Staci’s place was the perfect spot to relax! We enjoyed access to the slopes and the variety of board games in the evening. We certainly will consider returning in the future!

Such a fun getaway. Walking to slopes was amazing!

Just what we needed! The tv’s are insane but we all cuddled in bed and watched after a long fun day of skiing.

Ski Getaway

This was a great location for our family ski getaway. It was convenient to get to the slopes (although with this year’s snow cover we had to cross an extra trail), and a nice little mountain to ski. The condo was fully equipped with what we needed for relaxation between runs! Staci was prompt in her responses as a host. A great place to stay!

Perfection. Everything you’ll ever want.

My friends and I stayed here for a quick ski trip. The location is perfect with ski on/ski off access. You are right on the mountain and very close to other restaurants and bars. The condo itself was spotless when we walked in and there was tons of space for all of us to be comfortable. Having 2 full bathrooms was a huge plus and the sauna was a great bonus. The kitchen was equipped with every utensil needed which for us was great because we cooked dinner. The air fryer was a nice surprise. We will be booking this location again before the winter is over.

Really amazing place!

Family with three kids (16M, 12M, 8F) had an amazing time. Despite the fact that the weather and ski conditions weren't the best (no fault of the host!) the family loved the condo. We hooked up our Nintendo to the massive TV, enjoyed many games of foosball, and played board games every night. Fantastic location and such a nice place to come "home" to. We weren't able to walk to the slopes due to limited snow cover, but the parking lot is about a three-minute drive away. Was able to easily do a morning session / lunch at the condo / afternoon session, saving $$$ at the lodge. Great restaurants and supermarkets are close by. Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyable condo with close access to slopes

We enjoyed the close proximity to the slopes. Took us about 5-ish minutes to walk to the slope. Parking was easy and close to the entry of the unit. The kitchen could be a bit better equipped but wasn't bad. We ended up not using the loft at all, but if you have teenagers that would be perfect for them. Top level master bedroom was a good spot to tuck a Pack and Play into! Just make sure you note there are no bathtubs. Worked out fine for my 3 year old to shower, but those with babies may want to be aware. Overall was a nice unit and good size for 3 adults and 2 small children.

Ski In/Ski Out in Comfort

My best friend and our fiancés had a wonderful stay at the Madison Condo at Hunter Mountain. The condo is even more luxurious than the pictures give it credit for. Large smart TVs in each bedroom and living room, well functioning sauna, and incredibly accessible to the ski resort via car or short walk. Even the little things like dining/glassware, coffee, appliances and cleaning supplies made our stay even more convenient. Our host had excellent communication and made sure our stay was top notch for New Years Eve. We could even glimpse the fireworks from the back porch! My only feedback would be to remind guests to bring their own shower soaps/shampoo since these are not provided. Basement room Tv wasn’t able to be operated by my friend. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Hunter Mountain Ski Weekend

My family and I had a great time staying at Staci and Mike’s property. We were just a short walk from the slopes, the property was clean and stocked with games for the kids, and the owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a getaway on the mountain!

An honest review

We stayed at Staci's rental over NYE weekend. Upon looking at the listing online, it looked like a really great place, in great condition. I chose the listing because of this, the great reviews, and the host was a premier host. We paid a premium price for this unit. When we got there we found the unit in a rundown condition. The pictures from the listing were deciving. The bathrooms were very old and outdated. The bathroom on the lower floor was in barely working condition. The bolts were loose on the toilet, you could hardly get your hands in the tiny sink to wash them, the shower was leaking behind the wall, and the showerhead was so low our family members could not shower in there. The ceiling was also half spackled and looked like it had been sitting like that for a very long time. The door knob was falling off so we actually had to retighten the screws so we could use it. The bathroom upstairs was also very outdated. The flooring didnt go up to the tub and there was mold on the ceiling. There were also random things around the house that were "quick fixes". For example, instead of screwing the light switches back to the wall, they scotch taped it. Another concern with the rental was they had a security camera on the inside of the unit that could watch us walking the downstairs level. That made us very uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure that is illegal. I did politely contact the owner about the problems with the unit and she was super defensive. She did offer to refund us for our last 2 nights if we left but there were no other places available to rent since it was nye weekend. I will say the unit was clean and the kitchen was fine with newer appliances.

Hi Kaitlin, we are sorry that you felt this way. We offered you a refund not because we agree with your assessment but because we do not want anyone unhappy in our home. We love it as do all of our other guests. To say that the pictures are deceiving is untrue. They are exactly what the condo looks like. The bathroom are small and we have plans to update them after this season. That being said they are clean and very usable. We asked for pictures of the “mold” but they were never sent. Unfortunately we had a leak recently that has been fixed but we have not had the chance to paint the ceiling. We were unaware of the light switch plate and that has been replaced. To address the camera we have one pointing at the front door for both our protection and our guests. We only review it if there is an issue. We’ve had complaints regarding pets and to many people. I do not feel that we were defensive but more confused as you asked for a refund after you stayed the entire New Years eve weekend in our home. Our unit is clean, spacious and fully stocked with extras . We feel a 2 star rating is unfair as our unit is enjoyed by many as you can see from all of the other reviews
