Nice views, no hot water

Felt recently renovated compared to the other Sea Colony condos. Nice views. No hot water for our entire stay.

Everything was Awesome!

This was our 2nd time renting and even with Hurricane Debby looming, we enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was just as awesome as we remembered. Would highly recommend.

Great views

Loved the place, clean, spacious, and great views. My only complaint is the hot water. It was hard to get showers, water didn’t get that warm and only one person could get a shower before the warm water ran out.

Awesome sea view from 14th floor

I loved the house, very well maintained and perfect interior, owner kept good amount of necessary supplies, good rage cooking utensils, very large living space with large glass view from living and big size balcony with decent furniture. Pictures doesn’t justify the house, this house is awesome and located in breathtaking sea view, we enjoyed our stay here.

Unbeatable Bethany Views

Great accommodations; stocked kitchen; clean unit. Love Sea Colony! Pools and ocean were great! Only problem we had was that the unit was hot (extremely high temps the day of our arrival) and the screen door was off of its track and fell on our small child. nobody hurt, but screen seems to need some adjustment. Great stay!

View is great but needs serious upgrades

The view was spectacular. The place itself and the amenities are definitely in need of serious updates. The mattresses are horrible. We did not sleep well at all. And there were a little flying bugs everywhere but I suppose that could’ve been something going on with the building.

A few issues….

Loved the location (14th floor), view, beach, amenities, and space. Easy checking in and out. But… Not as clean as it should be….gritty, sandy floors, empty water bottle under bed, crumbs in silverware caddy, cushions on chairs and footstools need to be cleaned. Mat in master bedroom shower is old and does not suction…it slips and is so dangerous. There were no additional rolls of toilet paper and no hairdryers in the bathrooms, minor amenities that one would expect to be included at this expense level of rental. I mistakenly assumed there would be a blow dryer and had to go buy one. Also, the couch and chairs in the living area are extremely low (and outdated)…difficult for any adults who have knee issues, weight issues, or are just old, to stand up from! We are athletes, extremely fit, but with some arthritis in our knees…we found these chairs difficult and uncomfortable to stand up from.

Regarding toilet paper and hair dryers, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Other items such as pantry items and bathroom accessories are not typically stocked in the home. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us.

Home/Condo was excellent! Very clean and modern

This was our 3rd year staying at Vacasa. We have slowly moved toward the middle buildings and we were thrilled with the openness of the condo when we walked in. Lots of space for our two little ones. Every thing worked perfectly fine too, until the water outage issue (thanks, Vacasa). I saw a review where the garbage disposal was near the front bedroom, but we slept in this room and we didn't hear this at all (we were concerned this would be an issue but wasn't!). Also, being 8 months pregnant, I had no issues sleeping on the mattress. I saw another review that stated discomfort with the mattresses, but there will always be someone who needs a different mattress. We slept perfectly fine, as did our children. Everything was in working order and the condo was very neat. Would love to stay in this condo again. Note for potential renters: There is a glass table in the living room and mirrors on the wall behind the couches. If you have small children and think this could be a potential issue, this place might not be for you. My kids aren't rough, but I was extra cautious when they were in the living room area and covered the table with a towel just to be safe. Balcony was awesome too. Back to Vacasa- please do better when it comes to impediments with future vacationers. I was literally 8 months pregnant with 2 small children. I could not leave to fill up jugs of water two buildings over and haul them back. Each toilet took 2 gallons of water to flush so guess what didn't happen every day? Yea, toilets didn't get flushed. Made our stay just so wonderful. Also, the fear of my youngest drowning in a bathtub of water at night drove my anxiety up because that was your recommendation for the water outage. So thanks! The bathtubs didn't hold water anyway; they both drained. But when notified of this in advance, my fear was her finding that tub in the middle of the night (hers was filled to 3 inches bc of my fear). We were informed that the flood occurred 3 months prior, so please take into account that a Sea Colony vacation may be someone's only vacation for the summer (our situation), so it was a pretty crappy one (no pun intended).

Great Trip!

Location was awesome! Views unbelievable. Check in and check out was simple and fast. Kitchen and bathrooms cleaned and well stocked. Towels very fresh and clean. Beds VERY comfortable. Whole resort was awesome! . Few recommendations: 1. Wish there was a keypad and not actual keys. Pain to carry with us. Door only locked WITH key from outside. 2. Beach locker was disgusting. Almost wished it were empty rather than having Rusty beach chairs and other things not appropriate to touch. 3. Floors were Dirty. We have a crawling baby who was BLACK on hands and knees. Toys rolled under beds and couches and inches of dust and sand under them. Since we stayed at beginning of season we feel they should have done thorough deep clean prior to start of season. Furniture and floors way too dirty and dusty. Under bed was a large piece of broken ceramic. Fortunately we found before baby. We did call about this and they sent someone. We very clearly asked if we could be there while they cleaned cause baby needed to sleep and they said no problem. However when cleaning staff showed they could only clean with us gone. Big misunderstanding between Vacasa and cleaners. So we did it ourselves. That being said they did call us again and offer to come another time. It was just too much to schedule. Despite the recommendations, we would still book again. Great unit overall!

Great condo!

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. One of our children has life threatening food allergies so the dishwasher was a huge benefit. We were able to put dishes in as soon as we checked in and they were clean and safe for him by dinner. The washer being inside the condo was amazing for the same reason. We were able to wash his bedding as soon as we got there and have it safe for him by bed! The condo was very clean and surprisingly large! It is most definitely bigger than it appears in the pictures. The beds were all comfortable and the huge closet was awesome for hanging clothes that we don’t dry. We were so close to the elevator which was so nice and the parking spot is beyond convenient. The only thing I didn’t love was the floors were so dirty! They didn’t appear dirty in but they turned the bottom of our feet completely black! There was also a used mask in one of the blankets in the closet. I’m sure it’s a lot to clean and was likely just overlooked. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we’re hoping to make it back next year!

Terrible weather but nice place for sure!

We arrived the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend and that day was great. The unit is really very nice and just as advertised. 14th floor beautiful views of the ocean. Edgewater House building is the way to go as there is the best pool and very easy beach access. There's a little deli in that building that has limited breakfast/lunch items but certainly convenient. Fins Alehouse across the street is great, the Cottage Cafe is nice and the Bethany Boathouse and Armands Pizza are also very close. The parking space is great for both pool and beach access if you want to keep your equipment in the car. There's also an elevator that serves that side of the property which is great. We were 4 adults and never felt crowded.
