Exquisite duplex offers top level comfort with screened porch and open deck overlooking the creek. Tropical accents with lovely furnishings, gas grill, and community pool. Also has WiFi. Cable TV in Living Room. 2 additional TVs with no cable. Linens and Towels provided.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Reviewer Comments: As stated, the house looks out onto 2 small bodies of water where you can watch local birds float or fly by--such a peaceful & pretty view. The neighborhood is quiet. The house was spacious. The inclusion of towels & linens is appreciated. The house was tidy & clean. If you plan to cook, be prepared to bring kitchen utensils & condiments. The basic pots/pans/silverware/knives are provided, but the cooking utensils provided were mostly plastic so bend when ladling out of a bowl, stirring, etc.

Reviewer Comments: First I want to say the rental experience was easy and reassuring that I wouldn’t have to worry about anything.Family vacation with 3 little ones, 8, 5 and 2.The house was great. #1 it was VERY clean! Spacious enough for our family.Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc. located in a quiet area but just a short drive to everything needed.Screen in porch was FANTASTIC, keep all the bugs away while still enjoying a cup of coffee outside! Small negatives: cabinets were so full of supplies no place to store food for the week.Tub/shower doors made bathing the kids a bit difficult.Beds are not bad for a rental but still not great. No outdoor shower, there is a hose but we still ended up tracking in a lot of sand to be picked up.The negatives dis not out weigh the positives and We will absolutely stay again!

Third times a charm at summer sails

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year renting this vacation property. That should speak volumes in itself. Booking is tricky for us as we are from Canada and the US govt changed how we can and cannot send money. This property is already at the top end of our family budget so paying via credit card is not an option as it added almost $235 Cad to our trip because of fees. The home is perfect for us as a family of five. Master bedroom with ensuite gives us space away from our teens. I love the screened porch and spend early morning and post beach time there daily. We do not eat out so we love the big kitchen and BBQ. The pool is a fun bonus. Home from the beach and have a before dinner drink and snack at the pool. This year we had two little issues at the house and the Harbour rentals staff handled both quickly and efficiently. The house is clean on arrival and we care for it while there to make leaving efficient. The backyard view is stunning! The master bedroom mattress is in need of replacing and we have always wished there were 6 chairs outside as we are a family of five and the four seater table is tricky. Highly recommend the house - just not the week we are going!!

We were able to throw our crab traps in the creek and got enough for a meal during the week. So peaceful and relaxing! Also appreciated the pool to cool down.

A piece of heaven with a bit of hassle

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year booking our home. I called on the day we were told that 2024 bookings would open and our house was gone. Hmm well ok. Then we picked a new date based on home availability and signed the contract. Paid the deposit. What? Wait. Harbour rentals made a $400 mistake and we owed more. Contract? Yeah well Sandy said they would cancel on their end. So they had us over a barrel. We liked this home that much. So we paid. Paid in full 30 days out. Kept our end of everything. Got to the house and well. Not clean. They got back to me right away with an offer to “try and get someone out tomorrow.” We chose not to live in some else’s dirt for 24 hours so we vacuumed, scrubbed the shower of body hair, cleaned dishes and made the most of it. Harbour rentals did send an ice cream gift card. The home is amazing. Perfect set up for a family of five with three teens. I love the screened porch. The kitchen is good ( we are not the eat out type). Son made amazing BBQ on the BBQ provided. We loved having the pool to enjoy. The house seemed a bit tired from last year. Would have loved five chairs on deck - only four so we could not have meals outdoors. I would recommend the home. I would like to see Harbour rentals step up their game. It was disappointing to spend this kind of money to have three bumps in the road.

The porch and lawn area are very private and the view of the canal area is lovely. We also enjoyed the pool and found it very refreshing.I did tell Harbour Rentals that the Wifi signin is not correct in the listing information and on the app. We found it written out by the television and equipment cabinet so we were able to connect but it should be corrected.We hope to come back again soon.

We brought everything on your list, but when we arrived, there were no kitchen trash bags or dishwasher soap. Also no oven hotpads!! These should be provided! Also, right side of kitchen sink was not clean. Again, we were provided with the wrong size sheets, but this was corrected as soon as we called in. We would reserve again, but please take care of these annoying things. Thank you.

A perfect piece of heaven

Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed going to CI for several years, but we have always camped. We decided to try a rental home this year for a variety of personal reasons. We did spend a bit more on this one than others but having the screened porch and pool really added to our overall CI experience. The home is beautiful and well maintained. Sadly the kitchen dishes were not very clean and after driving almost 12 hours to get there, washing dishes was not part of my plan. Several looked like they were rinsed at most but not washed. Gross. I do not get that since there was a dishwasher on site! The home is close to the carnival and on arrival day we went out for a quick icecream and then could not get back to our property because of the carnival firework show. They did not let us back until 11 :30. Exhausted. We were also quite thrown at the extensive to do list the day we left. With a 12 hour drive ahead sweeping, vacuuming and literally getting the house ready for the next people was in our opinion a lot to ask before 7 AM. We would totally stay again. The overall experience was amazing and Harbour Rentals made the process easy and efficient. We have no clue what the app was for and although we had downloaded it, we never used it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and layout of the house were both perfect for us. We’ve stayed at houses in this area before and they were always great houses. Unfortunately, this house was a little disappointing. The furniture had covers didn’t come close to staying in place and revealed badly ripped, stuffing exposed furniture underneath. The floor was so dirty that our feet turned black from walking in the house so we had to wear shoes. The railing was sticky, and there was layers of dust everywhere. I didn’t feel clean and couldn’t really relax in this house. With some newer, not torn, furniture and a thorough cleaning, this house could be great.

I love the community feel in this somewhat private neighborhood. The pool is great! The house could use a little updating, furniture fabric was unraveling and the covers wouldn’t stay on. Otherwise, it’s a great house in a beautiful location!

Run down. Needs updating!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay in this development every summer but this is our first stay at Summer Sails. In comparison to other properties in Silver Sails Landing, this house is very run down. The house was dirty upon check in. The couches in the living room were covered with a furniture cover. When removing it, the couches looked like they were ripped apart by an animal. Completely destroyed and just covered with a slip cover! Stains (blood or food, we couldn’t tell) all over the insides of the couch that were exposed. I was so disgusted. We did not use the living room. Only one tv with cable. All the bedrooms had TVs but no service in them. The screen sliding door was removed and left just placed against the house broken. It was very disappointing.

Summer Sails Rental Review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the quiet backyard. We were even able to crab right from the property. Lots of room for outside games too.Unfortunately the washer did not work. We were able to figure out what the problem was and Eddie fixed it Wednesday late afternoon. The other problem with the house is the furniture in the living room. The furniture (2 chairs and sofa) are covered with removable covers which were always a mess. The original covers have deteriorated and one chair has the stuffing coming out of the front. The pillows are also faded and very old looking. We have reported this to Harbour Rentals and they mentioned that they have spoken with the owners about it as many people have had the same concern. The rest of the house was great. The beds were very comfortable and there were extra blankets if needed. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We would recommend this property to a friend if they replace the furniture and we would rent again if they replace the furniture. Thank you.

Reviewer Comments: We LOVE the town of Chincoteague and we LOVE the location of this vacation rental. However, it NEEDS a new living room furniture set. The carpet throughout is so shabby. The tvs in the bedrooms don't work at all. The rental company was helpful when the toaster broke and they left a new one right away.A few upgrades would really make this a great vacation rental.
