About the host
Hosted by Marie Constantin
I am an artist and when you rent the Flying Alligator you will know you stayed in a space designed and furnished by an artist. I also care for the environment by advocating for stormwater utilities and I have now organized cleanups for over 34 tons of litter.
Why they chose this property
Established in 1805 by a Spanish Land Grant, Spanish Town is our city's oldest neighborhood originally built to house residents who defended a fort. The historic charm showcases creole cottages mixed in with modern structures and a sprinkle of pre-civil war homes.
What makes this property unique
No other neighborhood in this city can offer more than the Spanish Town Neighborhood with its Saturday Farmer's Market, views of Huey Long's State Capitol, nearby restaurants and close proximity to the walking paths along the Mississippi River and Capitol Lake.
