About this property

The stars at night are BIG and BRIGHT. Triple Oaks Guest House

Be Our Guest!
Eclipse Special - We will allow late check out (up till 3pm) on Monday April 8 with no extra charge! By pass the crowds and traffic in town!

Triple Oaks Guest Haus was built in 2020. Entrance onto the property is via a private and secure electronic gate.

You’ll have everything you need for a romantic cozy countryside get-away for two or plenty of room for two couples to spread out in this 865sf home with 10’ ceilings.

Two private bedrooms featuring authentic cowhide rugs, king size beds, comfortable hybrid mattresses, two soft cotton quilts for snuggling, 800 thread count organic cotton sheets, a king size feather or micro-fiber pillow on each bed, and quiet overhead ceiling fans. You’ll find personal terry cloth robes, slippers, hangers and extra pillows in the closets.

The extra large bathroom is equipped with full tiled shower walls, a marble bench and shower-system including a rain downspout and a hand held shower wand with bath sheets to wrap up in after your long hot shower. Hot water is provided by an on-demand hot water heater, so you will never run out of hot water!

There is plenty of room to maneuver and dine in the large country eat-in kitchen area with a full size refrigerator and ice maker; top of the line Breville 3 in 1 combo microwave/convection oven/air fryer; Cuisinart coffee maker with single cup or brew by the pot options (we provide a variety of Texas coffees and teas), hotplate, griddle, toaster, blender and outside BBQ grill (we provide the charcoal and lighter fluid).
The kitchen is equipped with all of the utensils required to create a gourmet meal.

A full size front loading stacked washer/dryer is also available for your use. Please bring your own laundry detergent.

The sitting area features leather furniture, soft throws and pillows, an authentic cowhide rug, and a large screen ROKU TV with excellent free WIFI service.

Peaceful mornings and quiet evenings gazing at the Milky Way overhead are when you’ll be glad you chose a place in the country away from the light pollution in town.

With this property situated on a hill top top there is always a nice breeze.

Start the day with a hot cup of your favorite coffee, watch the sun rise over the hills and the deer, black buck or other wildlife congregating around the feeder in anticipation of the 7:30 am feeding.

Take a stroll along the various mowed paths that wind around the 14 acre property.

Delight in the many species of birds as they visit the feeders or drink and bathe in the waterfall feature, as you simply relax in the shade and enjoy the country life away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Please request the hammock (ready to hang in the trees) if you would like to set that up when you arrive.

If you enjoy dining outdoors, we’ve got you literally “covered” on the side patio equipped with an outdoor propane heater for when there’s a slight chill in the air.

As the day draws to an end you won’t miss the fiery ball at sunset off the front porch and - keep an eye out for the deer, black buck and wildlife returning for the 6:30 dinner bell at the feeder.

After the sun sets you might want to head to the fire pit (we provide the fire wood) with large poly-wood Adirondack chairs (we also provide outdoor blankets) to watch those big, bright Texas stars glide by overhead or head to town for some real authentic Texas red-dirt country music!

We are conveniently located on US 87 south just 6 miles from Fredericksburg, 13 miles north of Comfort, and 9 miles from Luckenbach (via the backroads).

No matter what draws you to the hill country, whether it is enjoying the antique shops in Comfort, the wine trail in Fredericksburg; or live music in Luckenbach, Triple Oaks Guest Haus is just a stone’s throw away from these wonderfully charming and fun hill country places.

Our rates shown are for double occupancy. Please confirm the number of people in your party when booking. Long term bookings are available and discounts are automatically applied for 7 day and 1 month intervals. There is a video surveillance camera outside covering our parking area.

Great property with a very nice and clean house
We really enjoyed our stay out in the country near Fredericksburg at this nice 2 bdrm house. We’d come back again to stay here. Walking around the property was quite relaxing and even got to pet the neighbor’s farm animals. This is a great location very near the Patriot Academy.

Beautiful getaway
We had a wonderful time staying at Triple Oaks. Everything was clean and beautiful. There was a delay getting checked in due to the keypad batteries being dead, but we were able to add a late checkout to make up for it. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and beautiful, and we loved having firewood ready to go for the fire pit. Thanks, Keith and Laura! We’ll be back.

Perfection
Words can’t express just how much we loved this place! Beautiful and modern, extremely clean and perfect location. We wanted someplace that was a bit away from the hubbub of Oktoberfest; a place where we could quietly relax after being in town. This amazing small house fit the bill. I wish we could’ve stayed a lot longer. We saw many deer on our walks on the property, and we were even able to give some scratches to the next door mini donkeys and goats through the fence. I can’t think of a single way this place could improve - as the title of this review says, it was PERFECTION!

Great getaway location
This house was by far the cleanest Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Everything was as advertised. My wife and I enjoyed visiting Fredericksburg with all its attractions. But once done, it was just a short drive back to this little gem! We really enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor activities. We also loved the wildlife that would visit the game feeder both morning and evening. Great trip and a refreshing getaway!!

We are a couple that enjoys traveling, live music, history and friendly people. As former beekeepers, we consider ourselves naturalists, and have a deep respect for the native lands in Texas and all around our country.

Why they chose this property

We love the Texas hill country! Every small town in Texas is unique and offers it’s own experience - but Fredericksburg is one of our favorite destinations!
Enjoy live music, beautiful weather, wineries, distilleries, golf, river trips, hiking and exploring the many parks and natural areas, Marketplatz and Main Street. A visit to Fredericksburg, Texas is an authentic German experience from German food to German culture. WWII enthusiasts will also appreciate the local Nimitz museum, the South Pacific re-enactment and the WWII Cafe at the airport.

What makes this property unique

Situated on grassy land that sits at over 1900 ft elevation this beautiful property always enjoys a nice breeze. The area is home to whitetail deer, blackbuck, wild turkeys, and even occasionally an albino peacock (our neighbor’s yard art) is known to sometimes visit.
