Perfect getaway for winter vacation, 5 min walk to the forest, 10 min drive to South Lake Tahoe. The kitchen has everything you need, plenty of cookware and good choice of condiments. Bedrooms are set with comfy beds, bathrooms are nice and clean. Highly recommended!

Our week in Tahoe was great!! Leah’s place was exactly what we needed. The location was central and easy access to all of Tahoe. Excellent communication and the restaurant recommendations were delicious!

Very nice stay in South Lake Tahoe!

The house was conveniently situated near the Sierra at Tahoe resort, where we enjoyed skiing over the weekend. It was immaculate and equipped with all necessary amenities. The tranquil neighborhood offered serene surroundings and stunning mountain views from the street. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great place to stay for a ski weekend

This house was great for our family of four for a ski/snowplay weekend. Our kids loved snow play in the yard while we watched from inside the house. House was clean and there was more than enough space for us. Was also nice to have a garage to park in.

Peaceful retreat

Had a wonderful family weekend at the home. Well stocked, cozy and conveniently located to ski areas and Lake Tahoe. Quiet street. Perfect home for us to be able to bring our Labrador. We will be back!

Thanksgiving retreat

We stayed at this lovely mountain retreat during Thanksgiving 2024 while visiting our son who lives nearby. This house was the perfect base fit our meals & outings. We loved exploring the Angora Burn Area and Washoe State Park. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Communication was excellent -thank you!

Ski week at Tahoe

It’s our second time here at this wonderful place and we love it so much! The property is so spacious, it has three bedrooms, huge kitchen and living room and gigantic back yard. It’s close to hwy 50 and you can skip all the traffic going to South Lake Tahoe. But most of all we love the proximity to the national forest, it’s perfect for sledding and cross country skiing.

Excellent location. Beautiful home. Photos do it no justice. Excellent communication with host. Beautiful storm with tons of christmas snow. House was toasty with a beautiful gas stove heater. This property is spacious for 6 of us including kids. And host Leah is helpful and handy man showed up within 30 min lighting up the water heater pilot.

Perfect house....

We stayed here for 4 nights with some friends and we all loved the open, airy house that was fully stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds, close to open space...we only wish we could have had more snow to take advantage of the cross country skiing just across the street...it arrived the day we left!

Relaxing Snowy Retreat

This dream home was amazing! It had everything we needed. The location is perfect with snowy trails across the street. Very spacious and welcoming. We enjoyed our family time and were close enough to hit the casinos for a night out if we wanted. However we just wanted to hang out in the home, play games and watch the snow. We definitely will be back as soon as we can!
