Welcome to Starfish Stays. Our little piece of paradise is located about 5 mins to a pristine private beach on the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This totally renovated Key West inspired studio is setting the standard on Manasota Key as one of eight units at Starfish Stays on the unique Manasota Key of Southwest Florida.

Starfish stays is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach for gorgeous morning walks, shell and shark teeth collecting, swimming, sitting under an umbrella, basking in the sun or watching the most beautiful sunsets of the Gulf. Plenty of complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels in the unit. Two custom built outdoor showers hit the spot to rinse away the sand and salt. We make it easy for you to relax and enjoy your vacation.

The grounds of Starfish feature a beautiful pergola complete with gas fire pit, bbq, cornhole games and seating for eight! This apartment also has an outside deck with seating.

The fantastic Stump Pass is 3 miles south of the property. Here you can fish, hike the nature trails, launch a boat or kayak or just relax on the secluded beach. Stump Pass is an excellent location for finding shark teeth. Parking is only $3 per day.

Blind Pass is one mile north on the key. There are nature trails, docks for fishing, kayak launches, and playground and picnic areas. There are public restrooms and outdoor showers as well as more beautiful beaches. Parking is free here and abundant.

Starfish Stays was completely renovated inside and out. Our property features 8 total vacations units. 2C is brand new and was completed November 2020. Everything is new down to the stainless appliances, queen size bed and custom countertop. Starfish 2C boasts a brand new queen bed and a sofa bed w/ upgraded brand new memory foam full size mattress for added comfort. We offer a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, and all linens.

Starfish Stays has eight units on the same property! Four two bedroom units, 3 studios, and a one bedroom unit. We can accommodate larger groups in several units.

We have our own private beach access, a TWO minute walk to the sand. Looking to avoid the big beach crowds? Our private beach is wide, sandy and PRIVATE.

Perfection!

The unit I stayed in, was perfect in every way for me. I needed a time out, for a few days, in a beautiful setting, and my expectations, were met. The location, is perfect, I felt very comfortable, ordering food, or driving to pick something up. Everything, from the beach, shops, food, etc, is nearby. Noise was non-existent, neighbors seemed friendly. The unit was very up to date, and clean. I made use of the laundry unit provided, and couldn't find anything, that wasn't as described. I found everything about the place, relaxing and just what I needed. I would gladly go back! Thank you!

Exceeded expectations!

Starfish 2C is my idea of the perfect place at the beach! It has everything needed including beach chairs, very nice beach towels, linens, a well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bed, a sofa bed, its own outdoor deck, an additional shared outdoor space with a fire pit and grill, and private beach access. The beach is located across the street. The condo is immaculately clean. The use of space is excellent. My sis-in-law and I traveled together and we were a little concerned about staying in a studio but this condo was set up so well, it worked perfectly for us. There is a free washer and dryer on site which is located super close to 2C. We appreciated the convenience of being able to do laundry while on vacation. Paula was quick to answer any questions and we had the pleasure of meeting her as she was onsite performing some upgrades. The pictures of the condo are great but it is even better in person!
