Beautifully Furnished Log Home on Secluded Shetland Creek

Are you looking for respite from the world? Stay a million miles away but just down the road from Glen Arbor, Leland and Sleeping Bear National Park in this beautiful log home. 'Cabin on the Creek' is a great up-north retreat! Tucked in the woods on Shetland Creek, this 4 bedroom 3 bath log home will sleep 10 people with 1 Queen, 2 Full, 2 Twins, and 1 Queen sofa-bed.

Relax by 1500 feet of creek side waterfront and enjoy the peace and quiet of 20 acres of woodland. You may just see the trout make their spawning runs in the spring and the salmon in the fall. Deer and squirrels visit almost daily.

Decks off of upper and lower level of house overlooking the creek. Only a few miles to Lime Lake, Little Traverse Lake, Sleeping Bear National Lake shore or Lake Michigan. A/C, washer/dryer, gas fireplace, fire pit, charcoal grill, cable TV/DVD/VCR, WIFI, linens provided. Will consider your well-mannered dog. No smoking. Summer stays are Sat.-Sat. only.

Really nice cabin 1/2 between Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dune.Well equipped and plenty of space. Small creek and fire pit was a nice way to end long days.Only drawback was an issue with the septic tank that created and irritating noise that drowned out the creek and nature. The issue apparently was a minor fix so hopefully no other guest will have to deal with the issue.

This was our second stay at Cabin on the creek and we enjoyed our time here. Very clean and love that it has 3 full baths one on each level. Great place to gather the family and enjoy holiday time!

quiet spacious place

Our family has stayed here several times. The place is located conveniently for us as family have cabins close by on Little Traverse Lake. The place has everything we needed and the A/C was nice for hot days. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our 3rd time renting the Cabin on the Creek and we had a great time. Very clean as usual, and they had everything we needed. Nice secluded location, but close to T C, wineries, Leland, and more. Hope to be back again next year.
