Old Willow Cottage is a charming modern farmhouse located less than one mile from the Cashiers Crossroads near High Hampton, tucked away in a private enclave of five cottages.

Old Willow Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a king size bed appointed with cozy and luxurious linens. The master bath is exquisitely finished with a large shower and heated marble floors that come in handy on those cold mountain mornings. The guest bedrooms are located upstairs, each with their own private bathroom and large closet. The second master suite has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The cottage is equipped with six Smart TVs, one located in each bedroom as well as the living room, bonus room, and the screened porch. This cottage features designer furnishings, hardwood floors, ten foot ceilings, and a beautiful stone fireplace with gas logs. The modern kitchen is nicely equipped and flows into the living and dining areas. The vaulted screened porch has a wood-burning fireplace complete with a gas/charcoal grill on the outside patio. The laundry room has a high efficiency washer and dryer with a utility sink. The carport protects you and your car from the weather and comes equipped with a charging outlet for those with an electric vehicle. Please inquire about children or pets.

"Casherz", as the locals call it, has something for the waterfall-chaser, day hiker, and nature enthusiast. This area is very popular for fly fishing with abundant trout streams nearby. This small village comes to life in the warmer months as visitors arrive to enjoy all that the mountains have to offer. The cottage is an ideal location to go on day trips to nearby towns. The quaint and popular town of Highlands is a short drive from the cottage. Other nearby towns to explore are Sapphire, Brevard, Sylva, Waynesville, and Bryson City. Each town has a charm all their own with hiking trails, shopping, and great restaurants. There is abundant wildlife including bears, deer, turkeys, and more. You might be lucky to get a glimpse of our famous white squirrels too.

Cozy Home in Cashiers

Our family of 4 have been visiitng Cashiers for about seven years. We have always rented a vacation home and never once were we as pleasantly surprised as with Ed's beautiful home. This cottage is truly spectacular! It is very conveniently located to Cashiers and The Highlands, as well as, several restaurants and shopping. The cottage is decorated very nicely, has wonderful extras in each room, and a fully stocked kitchen! The host also provides lots of extras (ie. Snacks, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and wood for fireplace). The absolute best part of the cottage is the screened in porch with wood fireplace….such an amazing place with a large TV! It was great for watching our favorite football teams! The host is very responsive and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend this property!

Christmas Getaway

Our family has been traveling to Cashiers / Highlands area for years and this was by far our favorite rental. The home was exactly as described and perfect for our family of 4. The location was great; right off of the main highway so very convenient to shopping, hiking, etc but the neighborhood felt very secluded once you were there. The screened porch and outdoor fireplace was perfect for the couple of cold rainy days that we had during our stay. We will definitely be back!

A great way to visit Cashiers

My wife and I have been making summer trips to Cashiers for more than thirty years, usually renting homes near High Hampton Inn. This last visit was probably our best. The cottage was perfect: clean, well equipped with a very practical,comfortable layout. The location was ideal for us. We had a couple stay with us for a few days and they shared our enthusiasm for the house. Our host was very responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend the cottage.

Charming Cashiers Cottage

Convenient to Cashiers, this cottage is pristine and exudes luxury in it's furnishings and amenities. Living spaces and closets are large with high ceilings and the kitchen is large and well-stocked. Amazing Mountain Cottage

We cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this home. We have rented a lot of homes in the Cashiers area and this is by far the best! Arrived about 6pm . Easy level entry and easy door code. This house is furnished with everything you could need. The bedrooms are big and loved the linens and comfortable mattresses. We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving. And WOW. Hands down our favorite rental property in over 20 years. It's peaceful, luxurious, and relaxing. It's like a PRIVATE FIVE STAR hotel. Some of the amazing details include: Charging stations for electronics Shampoo, conditioner, soap in all the bathrooms Coffee station with coffee pods and sweetener Laundry room with detergent and dryer sheets Private SCREENED IN PORCH with TV, FIREPLACE, firewood, and blankets (my favorite space in the house) Seasonal decor Heated bathroom floors Well appointed kitchen with EVERYTHING we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving feast from state of the art appliances to a meat thermometer and everything in between No detail has been overlooked. Prime location, Wonderful Home!

This house has everything you could possibly need to feel at home in Cashiers - it is pristinely clean and appears brand new, it is well-stocked with everything you will need to be comfortable, the rooms are large and spacious with high ceilings and the decor is up-to-date and well-appointed. The climate system works very well, the beds are comfortable, the showers have good water-pressure, the towels are lovely and plentiful and the kitchen fully equipped and a delight! The Cottage is located in a lovely new community close to the center of everything. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back!
