Wonderful bastidon!

We stayed four weeks in the Luberon Valley, and this convenient and well-located bastidon was a perfect base. We were able to visit the charming surrounding towns, hike, bike, and shop, and then come back for a refreshing swim in the lovely pool. This bastidon is well equipped, and we stayed in for dinner on market days and ate local produce. All together a fabulous experience. We highly recommend this bastidon!

Good Location But Would Not Stay Again

The location was great (just a short walk into town) but this property would be a better option in cooler months. We visited in July and found very little relief from the heat inside the house. There is no A/C and only a ceiling fan in the main bedroom. That’s it. An oscillating fan would have helped, but there wasn’t one provided. There were ants in the kitchen so don’t leave any food outside the refrigerator. There were hand towels and bath towels provided, but they were old, worn, and not one of them matched. The sofa and chair weren’t very comfortable. Privacy was very limited. We had the windows open to get the air circulating, but so did the guests at all the neighboring flats, so nearly every word spoken could be overheard. This was particularly true when sitting outside on the terrace. Compared to other VRBOs in other attractive locations, this property needs some upgrades, so we would not stay here again, though the location and its proximity to Gordes is good. Xavier, who helped us get checked in and showed us around a bit did a good job. Thank you, Xavier.
