Tahoma
House is cute, with the shared space upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. Well located, with restaurants nearby and 20 minutes drive to Olympic Valley. Issues with cleaning and the hot tub (reached out to Vacasa and there was no response).

It is what it is
The place isn't perfect, but it "is what it is" - meaning it's not a premium property and isn't priced that way. The wifi is unreliable, they could use some better pots n pans in the kitchen and the master shower leaks everywhere. BUT, the great room is great for a family with kids, the hot tub is awesome and the bedrooms were nice. Feel like we got exactly what we wanted, and what we paid for.

Hot tub didn’t work
The house is fine but the hot tub didn’t work. No furniture on the deck. We called about the hot tub. Talked with the manager. He said he was going to call back. He never did. We don’t want to pay for hot tub fee!

Deceptive Listing, Poor Customer Service and Issues Unresolved
There were 3 major issues with the property that were not resolved properly or in a timely enough matter by Vacasa. Despite giving them several weeks to resolve the issues and instead ignoring my calls and texts, Im leaving this one star review. 1. We booked this property solely because of the fenced in yard that was mentioned in the description and shown in the photos. It was a must with 3 young kids and a dog and without a fenced in yard we never would have booked this house. When we showed up there was no fence. Vacasa claimed the fence was knocked down earlier in the week by a bear and they forgot to update the listing. However, after speaking to neighbors we learned the fence was taken down months earlier at the beginning of the summer. Vacasa offered us a 20% credit on the ENTIRE booking amount for the inconvenience, however when the credit was received it was much less. 2. When a bear was roaming around near the backyard (that no longer had a fence) we stood on the upstairs balcony to get a glimpse. After stepping away from the railing we discovered that our clothes had been ruined by the fresh coat of stain that wouldn't come out as the back deck was recently sealed without notifying us. Vacasa first denied the deck had been painted, but when a repair man came out for issue #3 (details to come) he confirmed he could smell the fresh lacquer. Vacasa offered to replace the clothes, but after sending them links after our stay, no replacements have been received and we havent received any response despite several calls and texts to the local manager who promised to resolve the issue. 3. There was no hot water in the entire house and minimal water pressure in the kitchen sink, which made it impossible to do dishes and bathing very unpleasant. We notified Vacasa the day we arrived, they sent a plumber on day two who didn't appear to do anything, and finally on day 3 they sent another plumber who turned up the temp on the water heater and replaced a pipe under the kitchen sink that was limiting the pressure. I would certainly refrain from renting this particular unit and be ware of any other Vacasa property as they do not properly resolve issues that may arise.

Fall Trip
The house was as described. We liked to location. We had some problems checking in. We were told by text we could arrive early, which we did. However, the door lock was not set to allow early entrance so we spent a frustrating hour trying to get in. Upon arrival, the house was not as clean as exptected, the heater was broken (it did not work the entire trip), the upstairs toilet was clogged, and the kitchen faucet did not work. A plumber and handyman arrived and spent 2+ hours on the house the first day to clear the toilet and work on sink and heater, leaving at about 7pm. Bottom line, the sink was repaired the next day but the heater never worked. Fortunalty, they provided space heaters and the house was comfortable after that. The hot tub only reached 90 degrees, so we kept our dips short.
