We do strive for 5-Stars and kindly ask if you do find something we missed PLEASE let us know and provide us a reasonable chance for to make it right (we are local).
For the safety of our guests and residents in our community, our guests are required to complete an ID verification and background screening upon booking; Link will be sent after booking and only takes about 3-5 minutes to complete. Min age to book is 21 and strictly enforced. The information is collected for verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes. There is ZERO tolerance for parties, smoking, or unruly behavior.
NEIGHBOR INTERATION: We also kindly ask while you're staying NOT to use the word "Airbnb" when referring to your accommodation. Instead, you can simply mention that you're staying at a "Corporate Rental". This way, you can help maintain a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere for everyone in the neighborhood; and it prevents permanent residents from feeling uncomfortable with an unknown/unfamiliar individual living in their community/building. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything. We have a great relationship with the leasing office (and their permission to operate), THANK YOU for helping us keep it that way!
LEASING OFFICE INTERACTION: The leasing office is designed for residents that live in the community and not Short-Term/Corporate Housing guests. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything.
MAIL DELIVERY: Please do not have any mail or packages delivered to the property. It's recommended to obtain a local PO Box or UPS Mailbox if you need access to mail during your stay. Food deliveries (DoorDash/Instacart etc.) are just fine. Amazon also offers secure pickup and returns via their Amazon Hub stations.
EARLY CHECK-INS: Unfortunately, we can’t offer early check-ins, the check-in time is 4PM EST (or afterwards). If you need the property prior to check-in time, it’s highly suggested you book the night prior to ensure you have that guaranteed flexibility.
SMOKING: Not allowed in or around property (this also includes hookah). A fee of $125 will be charged if smoking (of any kind) occurs in the apartment.
AMENITIES: You are more than welcome to use the common areas of the community (Examples: gym, clubhouse, pool etc.). These are intended for your individual enjoyment during your stay. These areas are not for gatherings, parties or anything related. Noise, unruly behavior, loud music, disrespectful or unlawful activity in the common areas, the building or in the unit will not be tolerated. ***PLEASE NOTE: Building amenities are NOT owned or managed by StaysByWalker; at anytime (without notice) these areas can be temporarily closed or out of order due to required maintenance, an incident or at the discretion of the building/community to protect the health and safety of everyone. These occasions can be very inconvenient, instances are unfortunately out of our control.***

The Neighborhood:
NoDa, short for North Davidson, is the city’s arts and entertainment district. It's known for its eclectic galleries and music venues, including the Neighborhood Theatre, host to big-name acts, and intimate spots like the Evening Muse. Artisan gift shops, jewelry stores and tattoo parlors dot North Davidson Street. Local eats include Southern fare, Cajun cuisine and pizza, and there are a number of hip dive bars.
ECLECTIC, ARTSY, PLAYFUL
Just a few minutes north of the city center by car or LYNX light rail, you’ll find Charlotte’s arts and entertainment district, NoDa (so named for its main drag, North Davidson Street).
Brightly colored murals, galleries filled with local artwork, live performance spaces and more await in this hipster haven, which was once home to turn-of-the-century textile mills — as do ample restaurants, coffee shops, bars and breweries.
NODA BY MORNING
Whether you’re a “Friends” fan or not, you’ll want to start your day off at Smelly Cat Coffeehouse & Coffee Roasters for your caffeinated beverage of choice along with a breakfast sandwich or pastry. Once you’re sufficiently satiated, walk a block up E. 36th St. to The Barre Code or a block down N. Davidson St. to NoDa Yoga for your morning sweat session of choice.
From there, peruse the shops in the heart of the neighborhood. You can find home goods, apparel, toys and jewelry from cultures around the globe at Pura Vida Worldly Art. Or explore a world of magick and wonder next door at Curio, Craft & Conjure.
NODA BY AFTERNOON
Lunchtime calls for a visit to Sabor Latin Street Grill for fresh, authentic dishes inspired by countries like El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia.
Get mural hopping at spots like the Confetti Stripes Wall outside of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, the NoDa Wall outside of Johnny Fly Co. and the Bloom Mural outside of Fu’s Custom Tattoo.
If you need a little afternoon pick-me-up after that self-guided street art tour, head over to Optimist Hall, 147,000-square-foot redevelopment of a mill house turned food and beverage hall featuring some of Charlotte’s favorite foodie spots.
NODA BY NIGHT
A day in NoDa wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Haberdish, easily one of Charlotte’s most popular restaurants, serving upscale craft cocktails alongside crispy fried chicken and comforting Southern-inspired side dishes.
After dinner, catch a show at The Neighborhood Theatre or The Evening Muse, local venues that play host to nightly performances ranging from live music to slam poetry and stand-up comedy.
