We spent 5 nights at the Anemone House. The location was an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne area. We stayed there during the June heat wave so having the pool to cool off in every afternoon or evening after being out and about all day was really wonderful. As was the A/C! The village of Sarlat is lovely and we walked down every evening for dinner. The walk back up to the house is a steep uphill. If you have mobility issues, driving would be better. We did not cook a lot in the kitchen, with the exception of breakfast, but the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were responsive and we did not have any problems with check-in. They met us as soon as we pulled up. We would stay again if we are ever back in the area.
