It’s a cute little cabin, it was nice to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. I didn’t have cell service in the cabin, but a short stroll of about 200 yards and you got service. Beautiful views and a true country feel. Will stay there again.

The stay was perfect. Only hiccup we hit was figuring out which driveway we needed to take. The listing said 48 but on the placard it said 43 but easily rectified. This place was exactly what we were wanting.

Amazing Property!

Our stay was amazing! The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Nice and clean, as well as the outhouse. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed being able to explore it all during our stay. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the privacy! We will be staying again!

Cabin was nice however bathroom was not a few feet away. It was 200 feet through the woods daytime and at night on a dangerous washed out trail. The road and driveway were so eroded from the rain, we could not have gotten in without my truck and 4 wheel drive. Very secluded but no waterfall or real access to the river. No phone or internet access. No TV or radio. Glad it did not rain while we were there. Kinda scary.

It is in the listing description that the bathhouse is 200ft away. We also have in our listing that there is no WiFi or tv, cell service is not guaranteed and that this is an off grid stay. There are stairs down to the river, which is in our listing description as well. The waterfall is clearly stated in our listing that it is a WET weather waterfall. A simple google search will tell you what that means. Our cleaning lady drives a Prius and has no issue driving on the gravel driveway. It seams you did not read any of our listing descriptions before booking this stay. We recommend not booking an off grid cabin in the woods if you are afraid of the dark.

The cabin is situated in beautiful oak forest where wildlife abounds. The deck adds significant living space and it is sheltered with great ambiance. I enjoyed reading and resting in the very comfortable bed. This is a piece of paradise!

Perfect Getaway

Although we had a slight change in plans the owner was very accommodating to it and we greatly appreciated it! Besides that we absolutely enjoyed our time here. The cabin is cute, property was fun to wonder around on and it was very guiet and peaceful there. The perfect place to getaway to for some relaxation. We hope to be back this fall!

I loved staying here. There was a bit of a mix up because I arrived 5 minutes early and didnt know how to get in because the owners messaged me but there was no service so I couldn't read the message. In retrospect I should have just checked the door but I ended up leaving and coming back so I could check the message. I live with social anxiety and this was so amazing to be out with nature for a whole day. There's a bench overlooking a huge river on a cliff and a creak that runs through the whole property. I did lots of exploring and would love to go again sometime

We were not issued a key entry into cabin, so we had to leave the door unlocked while we were away. We came back one day and there were carpenter ants in our food on the counter. I ended up spraying outside while I killed all the ants inside.we checked out a day earlier and notified the host by email and no response on either about the keyless entry or by checking out early by one day. I had to borrow a leaf blower on cleaned off the back deck and fire pit area so we could enjoy the fire pit.

I think I hear banjos

This property is very sweet. The location is super secluded and you absolutely will not get a phone signal. Super relaxing interior. That being said, the creek and the waterfalls were dry which was a bit of a disappointing. The pictures made it look like you could easily access the river, but you have a treacherous descent that involves holding onto a rope- better be in good shape. The trail to the bath house had lots of poison ivy and roots on the path so be very aware in the dark as there is no lighting on the path. However, less than 5 minutes down the road is a beautiful access spot to the river that I would highly recommend.
