We had a great stay at the Bennettscape lodge. It was a perfect size for two, very clean (brand new!) and close to trout fishing at the state park. We would gladly recommend this to our friends!

We enjoyed the Bennett Spring area and the location is convenient for fishing and getting around. However, our experience with the host after checkout was disappointing. The checkout instructions did not mention any requirement to wash dishes or perform additional cleaning, yet the host later left an extremely negative review claiming the place was left dirty. We did wash the dishes we used and left the property in what we believed was reasonable condition for a short stay. It was also unclear what could have been done about the rug, as there were no cleaning supplies or instructions provided.Guests should also be aware that the walls are very thin and you can clearly hear neighbors through them, which may affect privacy and quiet.Overall, clearer expectations and more balanced communication from the host would make the experience better for future guests.
