Why they chose this property
Forty years of camping, hiking and trout fishing in central and northern Maine. When I saw the view from Mahoney Hill, I was hooked. When I saw the view from the ridgeline, I had to build my dream cabin! I feel blessed to own a piece of paradise, and enjoy sharing the experience with others. My home is on the same 105 acre property. We have made several friends in the area: really nice, welcoming locals. Harmony with nature, peace, healthy living.
What makes this property unique
I looked at several other large properties in central Maine, but when I saw the view and setting... knew this was it. This spring, a local took me on a hike to the location of what is now Eagles Perch. This cabin just had to be built. Worked with local builder Brian Frigon to design the ultimate Maine Cabin, with modern touches and eco-friendly off-grid systems. My passion is reflected in attention to detail and tasteful decor; no plastic mama-bear towel hooks needed. You will see historic maps, artifacts, books on the area, meteorology station and telescope. When someone loves what they do, it shows. I think you will agree.
