Four nights In Moscow
Found the cabin on the second try, it’s hidden in plain sight, right off the road. Hosts provided welcoming touches like a personal sign and flowers. It’s a basic setup much like camping and we brought some basic kitchen stuff and lighting devices, which helped. The stream was full and flowing fast and loud, but subsided over time. One night it rained and the tin roof was like a drum, making sleep tough, wished I had brought a tent for that situation. The site is level and spacious. Firewood, supermarket and laundromat are easily found on 201. We enjoyed staying here and exploring the area.

Camp was perfect and tho it rained, we stayed warm and dry and salvaged a few sunny dry moments each day. From the welcome sign at the drive entrance to the flowers on the table, the place was comfortable like glamping should be!

Beautiful spot by the river
Although because of circumstances beyond our control we were unable to stay as long as we wished, the location and communication with the host were both excellent. The site is serene and provides (primitive) necessities. The river is lovely and, combined with the surrounding woods, provides respite from the modern world.

Nice yet Disappointing
I knew this was very rustic. I thought there would be a swimming area to just sit. It was where the two rivers/streams come together. Not safe for children as the water to rough and getting to the little pool of water is quite a challenge for anybody with disabilities or of older age, which was very disappointing. The property itself was secluded and camp life. The kitchen and picnic area were delightful. The Porta potty smelled awful, and look like it had not been cleaned in a while as there was about 10 empty rolls of toilet paper, which even if it’s a porta potty with something that’s private like this there is plenty of solutions for them to be clean and inviting do use. The cabin was what I expected as there is no windows of any size to circulate air and there’s no power for a fan, so be prepared that it is extremely hot. The rug was standing very nasty and the very small space that was there was very unpleasant smelling due to it, smelling like a woodstove that’s got wet. I try to splain with Lysol, but it’s so overpowering. If you like nature being outside, it’s a quaint little spot and I would recommend it. If you’re looking for anything that is rustic but still expect cleanliness and need to be sanitary. I would not recommend this place it is not somewhere you would want to walk around in bare feet. Some attention to detail cleanliness replacing some carpets, and odors and a screen door for ventilation, and make this a much more appealing place to stay.

We are Walter and Renata and so fell in Love with this amazing spot, well we just HAD to make it our own. And the best part is Michael & Jieying, the former owners have agreed to stay on as Property Managers. So all those lovely added touches remain :-)

Why they chose this property

We couldn't get enough of this lovely paradise! After staying several times per year creating special memories, we were thrilled when Michael & Jieying agreed to sell. It's a beautiful, private and relaxing spot. We trust you will enjoy it as much as we have.

What makes this property unique

Bordering two pristine streams makes this place truly unique. The spot where the two streams meet creates a little, natural pool for wading and cooling off in the Summer. And wow! On certain nights with chairs perched alongside the stream you can capture some amazing starlit skies. The outdoor Kitchenette is also a welcome addition. Michael & Jieying created the perfect mix of rustic, camping in natural surroundings with enough amenities to make it all comfortable. We wouldn't change a thing.
