We spent 3 nights here, it was so cozy and convenient! The back patio where grill, fire pit, and picnic table is located backs up to national forest so we could hike and wander right in the back yard. Dog friendly , and super thoughtful with extra blankets, paper towels, even a first aid kit
Expensive for what it was, coffee machine broken, it has a kitchenette not a kitchen, they said they were available if needed but never responded, and not a good bed. It was clean, the fire was nice, great shower, and nice deck.
Had a great night's stay at the Rainbow Trout cabin. Cabins were clean and cozy, enjoyed the fire pit on the back patio. Close to Creekside and Landmark for dinner and drinks. Relaxed to the view of beautiful stars and the sounds of elk bugling in the distance. Would definitely go back.
We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the Wooden Nickel Cabins. It felt like an oasis away from home. One thing to keep in mind though is to bring your own spices and/or oils for cooking. They have cooking spray and salt and pepper shakers, but that is it. Overall though we would definitely come back.
We headed up to a higher elevation to enjoy some winter weather and fresh air. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Check-in was easy and contact-free during the pandemic. We chose a weekday time-frame to avoid too many other guests, but this is a small row of separate cabins. Our kids did end up having the game-room cabin to themselves while we were there. And we even got some snow, which the kids loved. Thanks for a great stay!
We went for just a short weekend. The place is pretty small, but we didn't stay in the cabin much so it was just fine. For a family of five, if we were staying any longer we would have needed a place with a bigger kitchen.
I can't think of a single thing I'd change; my weekend at the Wooden Nickel Cabins was wonderful! The property is very clean, and inside the cabin it is as great as the pictures show. Very clean. The queen bed was super comfortable! (Peeked upstairs, but didn't try those beds.) You can sit on the front porch or back patio and enjoy the weather and the views. I would definitely rent here again. Checking my calendar now for my next available weekend!
We enjoyed this property so much, and we look forward to returning soon. I encourage anyone who is looking for a clean, cozy, and inviting space to relax, to check this out!
We loved our stay at this cabin. It was very cute, great decor, perfect amenities. My 3 teens, 2 dogs, the husband and I were very comfortable. With all boys, we really appreciated the game room!!
