Even nicer than the pictures! Best equipped VRBO I have stayed at and I have rented many. Super clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable furnishings. Would absolutely stay here again if in Richmond.
We enjoyed our stay at the Wellington! The house is cozy, and the owners have made it welcoming! The location was very convenient for us during our stay.

Born/raised in Kentucky, I know the importance of having roots and wings. There is comfort in knowing that you can always go home and excitement in testing your limits. Travel is the best education and home should be wherever you unpack.
The second best education is Eastern Kentucky University, my alma mater. I was honored to be selected as an EKU Distinguished Alumni, for professional achievement, in 2021.
Welcome to your Kentucky home!
Why they chose this property
The Wellington was an impulse buy! During COVID, I was distraught at the inability to meet my parents (in assisted living) in their home or anywhere. I didn't live nearby so, each time I travelled to Richmond I stayed with friends or in a hotel. I wasn't content with my parents just waving at me from their balcony, while talking on our cell phones just 10 feet away. I wanted to be closer.
I drove around Richmond and saw the For Sale Sign. The location and neighborhood is perfect - walking distance to just about everything (EKU, downtown, restaurants, bars, shops, and my parents home). The house had everything I wanted, so I made an offer and it was accepted the same day.
Six weeks later, I returned to close on the house and have Thanksgiving Dinner in my new home, with my parents.
This is the house that love for family, building memories and peaceful contentment was envisioned. I hope your family will build new precious memories and enjoy the Wellington, as much as mine does.
