Warm and cozy house. Very quiet location outside of town. It was about a 10 minute drive to restaurants and shops. The kitchen was very well equipped. The owner provides only environmentally friendly soaps and cleaners which don't work very well in my opinion. Perhaps that should be noted in the listing. The towels were not the softest or most absorbent.

Perfect Getaway

This was our 3rd trip to Jabulani, such a great home for relaxing and getting away from the hustle of life. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and playing games. We will be back !!

Beautiful Property

We were lucky enough to have snow for sledding on the beautiful property. The house is wonderful so many amenities and very comfortable. Sharon is great to work with and very helpful. Definitely plan to return again next year !!

This home is truly magical and luxurious all wrapped up in a beautiful farmhouse, surrounded by a country landscape that’s just far enough off the main road to give you that secluded feel, but not so far out that you feel like your isolated. My family and I spent three nights here over the new year holiday and it was just perfect. Everybody had space in the house. The house was perfectly furnished. The pictures do not do it justice and communication with Sharon was perfect. The kitchen was so well stocked there’s even Tupperware to put your leftovers into the fridge. It’s a true chef’s kitchen, which allowed us to cook all our meals there with ease. We had family movie night on the couch, where everyone was able to relax and stretch out and we were able to get in Family game night on the huge dining room table. It’s a beautiful, beautiful, home where we could come together as a family and spend a few days just being together and enjoying each other‘s company, but everyone still had enough space where we were not on top of each other. The Internet was easy to add on and worked excellent as one of my family members was able to work from home for one day with no problems or Internet connection issues. This home is luxurious, welcoming, and feels like home! We didn’t want to leave!! We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!! Thank you Sharon!!

Fantastic Stay! Couldn't be better!

We had an amazing stay at Jabulani. It is clear that Sharon (owner) really cares about her guests' experience and stay). It's clear from the minute you walk into the lovely home. It has warmth and charm and is updated inside in every way for a true Vermont experience with luxury and comfort in mind. The guest book was helpful for info on the area and home. Be sure to explore the charming town of Guilford where the home is, and also nearby Brattleboro about 15 or so min away. Great place to walk the town and take in the authentic VT town and shops and people. The property is amazing and the hill in the back was the absolute perfect sledding hill for the kids! They didn't want to come inside! We didn't get to use the fire pit as it was too wet outside for our stay but hopefully next time! We ski'd at Mount Snow, right on the nose at 45 min away. Stratton is just 15 min further for 1 hr (did the snow mobile tour there...so worth it!). There's plenty to explore just a short drive away and yet you will be perfectly happy staying in the house and on the property as well!! Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely lovely!

This was one of the nicest places we've rented. The house was comfortable, modern and spacious, but it's what's around the house that makes it so charming. The farm, the scenery and the animals made our stay so delightful. Our host was also very accommodating and was a really lovely person. We enjoyed our stay, and will love to come back again some day.

Nice VT rental property

Very nice house with plenty of space and all the modern conveniences. Note that the fireplace is chained shut. You are absolutely not allowed to have a fire here (insurance concerns apparently) which was a little disappointing. Also this is very much a rental property, i.e. not actually lived in, which makes it convenient but also a little sterile. Altogether though it served us well and we had a great stay.

Thanks for the review Noah. Yes, the inside fireplace can’t be used because of the insurance but guests can enjoy an outdoor fire at the fire pit. The house is very much a private home during the summer months and adorned with a collection of local art.

Happiness

This is our second stay at this house. We like the open layout of the house. We also like the expansive backyard which is great for sledding if you have young kids. It's also not so far from skiing.
